Close range or far range in battle which is better?

I think that close range rocks like it is way more interesting when they fight.what do you think?

Like when we see people in Naruto fight, then close-range, unless they have an awesome ninjutsu, then long range.

Gaara vs Deidara was awesome though Rock Lee vs Kimmimaro was also epic. It is all the same as long as it is just a good fight. Things need to be interesting

Far range is better, because the enemy cant hit you, unless hes fast, or can basiclly fly..

Far range stronger against close range so far range.

Long range attacks are generally less powerful and easier to avoid. Short range attacks are harder to land (since you need to close in without being hit), but once you're in short range and you land your attacks, they will be way more devastating than long range attacks.

Yes.Close range attcks seem to also affect your body or something.

long range attacks are weaker and most of the time you can avoid damage but it also depends on the jutsu you have however it seems that short range does more damage to your opponent once hit hard enough however the weakness on short range is that you can get hit easier with a powerful jutsu. But it seems that long range always seems to beat short range. however I beleive that long range fighters take longer to finish a battle while short range can finish a battle quicker. that why long range fighters need to prepare alot before fighting and need to be have the best reactions to anything they have to react to any suituation quickly as they could be surprise by the speed of their opponent.

Prorbably long range fightes can beat close range fighters if he's able to stay out of the distance,but some close range fighters are pretty fast like Rock Lee or Gai.

true many close range fighters are fast however you have to do huge amount of tiajutsu training to reach that speed of miato guy and rock lee. like I said before many long range fighters have to be prepared all the time for anything in order to react quickly with it. like garra he had sand armor all over his body and even that sand shield to fight against rock lee. rock lee speed was so fast that garra shiled was not enough however thanks to garra sand armor the taijutsu did not effect him.. and save garra.

Neji is a close range fighter, Tenten is a far range fighter. They both have their own disadvantages so I'd say a balance of both.
