Does Love Have Limits?

I'm ganna ask a few questions, and see what happens because of them.

1) Is it possible to Love any Thing, reguardless of who or what it is?

2) Can you only Love so many Things at a time?

3) How many different types of Love are there? What is it really?

4) Is there any way to ever say that you do or do not Love something, and prove it in a true form? Making it able to be precieved by the senses.

These should be good to start with. I believe the responces will be most interesting. Instead of debating though, just answer the questions for now. Maybe you'll be more inspired by not having to stand up for your points or try to tear down other people's.

Just answers, please.

No because it's not possible that we human can always find new relationship and grow that bond into a close friend relationship. I don't believe in such things as love though. Because emotion always constantly change. It's like not possibly for you not to hate or any other emotion toward your family, friend, or marriage.

1. Yes, you can make yourself believe you love something.

2. No, there is no limit to how many things you can love.

3. There's too many loves to count, since it's different for every individual.

4. It's impossible to truly make someone believe you love something no matter what.

You can hate yourself, you can't love yourself all the time. You'll have a day probably stress out and may curse about yourself because your that frustrated.

1. No. Real love cannot be felt for an object. It can only be felt for a living thing.

Love of an object is sort of a corrupted form of love; think Gollum from "The Lord of Rings."

2. I think that it isn't a question of can you love so many people at once, but rather, that real love is only felt for a select few people.

3. I don't know.

4. Yes. By showing that you truly care more for the well-being of your loved one, than for your own well being, to the point of giving your own life to protect theirs.

1. In certain ways, yes. A man may rape somebody, but regardless of how much people hate the sick pervert, his mother may always love him. But that goes for us. Could we meet this rapist, and know what he's done, and start a new love with them? I think not.

2. I think in ways like love of your children, yes.

3. Love is just a deep caring for somebody. A willingness to protect them from anything. Romantic love, as its referred to, is something completely different. A made up feeling, a temporary high.

4. Killing. Your natural response to love is to keep someone safe, and alive. That is really the only true way.

Agreed. I might combine that with my concept to say: to protect your loved one at all cost, even if you had to take a life or give up your own.

A--I think it is possible to like a great deal of things. I love my family and friends. I love my pets. But I only cherish and like items.

A-- I don't think the human psyche has a preset limit. If there is one it is by individual people and they set the limit themselves. They don't test their full potential.

A-- There are three major types of love. Eros love - known as "erotic love". It is based on strong feelings toward another. It usually occurs in the first stages of a "romantic" relationship. Philos love - a love based on friendship between two people. Also a form of Family love. Loving ones children and relatives. Agape Love ( Full Love)- Agape love is above philos love and eros love. It is a love that is totally selfless, where a person gives out love to another person even if this act does not benefit her/him in any way. Whether the love given is returned or not, the person continues to love (even without any self-benefit).

A-- No. The feeling must be expressed and shown. It can be felt but nothing can be proved.
