New DBZ Tenkaichi game!

Alright, I guess this will be the last update I do for raging blast. The demo is now available on ps3 and 360, so if you've been curious about this game or wondering if it was actually worth buying then you can go download it now for free.

The demo lets you play as 3 characters: Goku, Piccolo and Raditz. Your only allowed to fight on one arena and all the basic controls are in the skills list menu. The demo also lets you use your own custom soundtrack for the fight (at least the ps3 version does, I'm not sure about the 360), for the ps3 version just go to the xmb and pick one of your songs that you'd like to have playing during the fight.

Well that's about it. If anyone who downloads the demo has any questions about the demo's controls or anything then you can post them on here. Also you can post your thoughts about the demo as well on this thread.

The new game is going to be for PS3 and Xbox360 and uses the same 3d style of gameplay as previous tenkaichi games. The game has even larger and more destructable environments than before and characters even have a new technique called a "Super Rising" move in addition to classic signature moves.

The game has been confirmed to go from the sayian saga to the buu saga but more may be added like GT sagas. There was a trailer that was shown at this years E3 that can now be found on youtube. Here's a link if anyone wants to see it.

Alright it's been a while but there's finally some new info and a brand new trailer for raging blast from GC 09.

In raging blast it's been confirmed that aside from being able to play through the dbz story there will also be tons of "what if" scenarios. There will also be online play available in raging blast and that it will run at 60fps both online and offline. Also there will be unlockable costumes for characters and there will also be characters and transormations that never appeared in the anime or manga. One character that has been revealed is a super sayian 3 broly, which is shown briefly at the end of the new trailer.

I think that that's about it for any new info (no confirmation of gt characters yet). But the trailer may cover anything I might have missed. Oh and the game is currently set for release on November 10th.

why cant they continue it on ps2 i mean come on!! and i hate how they did ratchet an clank series they started it on the ps3 and no new ones for ps2

Dude? The PS2 is at the end of it's life. Time to move on to the next generation of consoles.

I did when I went from GCN to Wii. I just need to do that with my PS2.....

i heard there would be 2 never before played characters and i know that ssj3 broly is one, does any one know what the other is?

yea but even the wii, ps3 , and xbox 360 has good older classic games to download

wait wait hold on a minute..so theres 2 never before chacrters thats in the game thats no in the series???

Yup and there may actually be more than ssj3 Vegeta and ssj3 Broly but they just haven't been revealed. As I said in one of my updates it has been confirmed that there will be some "what if" scenarios and characters in the game, however they are both optional so whether you like the idea or not you don't have to use them.

I guess that I'll give my thoughts on the demo too while I'm here.

It basically plays very similar to previous tenkaichi games so fans of the series will like that while those who have hated the series will probably hate this one too.

The counter system seems more finely tuned than in previous games where now instead of just blocking with the block button and dodging by hitting it at the right time, you now press certain buttons to evade certain attacks. You start by just holding the block button but then each dodge can be done by pressing the rush attack, the smash attack, or dash button. By pessing the rush attack button you obviously dodge your opponent's rush attack, and the same goes for when you press the smash attack which will perform a counter against the opponent's smash attack. By timing your taps of the rush attack button you can possibly avoid the opponent's whole combo (as long as they're all rush attacks). By countering an opponent's smash attack you dissappear and reappear behind them and send them flying, which can then be chained into up to 3 vanishing attacks and 2 dragon smashes. The dash attack dodge is used to dodge the opponents charged rush attack, but tapping the block button at the moment of impact will also do the same thing.

I saw just a couple of issues with the demo. One was that the camera tends to get stuck behind a wall when your right next to one and it can be a little annoying but it doesn't happen too often. Another was just that the Super Rising move that brings you quickly to the top of the stage just seems a little pointless.

That's about it for my thoughts on the demo. Other than that I just personally thought it's pretty cool to see Raditz being vaporized by ssj Goku's Angry Kamehameha while being able to have some of my favorite songs playing with the game's custom soundtrack option.

If you're a fan of the tenkaichi series and have a ps3 and 360 then give the demo a try and leave your opinions on it here guys.

well id still get cuz im a fan of all 3 of em..but sadly i have no ps3 or 360..wish they could make a version for ps2
