The photons maybe bouncing off of each other and making noise, like you just said, but they can make a sound only if they are doing so in an area that is not a vacuum.

Light is not everywhere but I digress.

You can have light in a vacuum, but not sound.

We are now into the tree in a wood scenario, where if a tree falls and no one hears it, does it make a sound?

I believe that it doesn't. Sound is a concept that was rationalized by living creatures. Without living creatures, how would sound as we know it exist? It wouldn't. So if there is no living creature or sensor, then sound doesn't exist.

you know it's a "love hate thing" with this subject, i think the tree makes a noice when it falls did i hear it, no. but still it made a sound, "but you didnt hear it" oh, well then i guess it didnt make a sound.

its weird but is the way i am sometimes.

I constantly hear that everytime it's silent. So I think I believe that there is no such thing as silence.

So to deaf people the world is silent. Vibration is everywhere but without the ear picking up the sound that is all it is. So yes, there is silence!

silence especially can't exsist for me.i have literally super human hearing so i can always hear something.from distant trains to bee's outside(sometimes a few meters away or more).

Sound itself does not exist until it touches a person's (or animal's) ear drums. Even in outer space, as stated earlier, you can hear, at the very least, your own heartbeat. Therefore, as long as a creature with ears is around, silence can not exist. Case closed.
