Yes, I think Obito is dead - that is what I gather not only from watching the Kakashi Chronicles, but in the original Naruto series, there was that moment before the Third Hokage's funeral when Kakashi is at the village memorial shrine paying respects to Obito's memory.

hmm? i find it strange that they didnt find his body just his headband...i think obito could be part of zetsu and that zetsu him before all the boulders fell on him...but that's just my opinion believe as you wish

His body was smashed. At the graves of Konoha there are not some bodies in their grave.

Dead? Probably not... But on the other hand, Kakashi used the Mangekyo Sharingan on Deidara, and he can only do that if he lost his best friend... On the other OTHER hand, it didn't work perfectly, so there is a chance that Obito is still alive. I personally think that it's Tobi, makes the most sense to me

I always thought i was obito's body but madara's soul.Besides,madara would be as old as dust by now...so kinda like oro's jutsu but longer.

in the kakashi chronicles it shows how obitos left eye was put into kakashi. that left obito with one eye the right sharingan which is where tobi and danzo have there sharingan but danzo is to old to be obito because kakashi is around 30 and danzo looks like his in his 50s or 60s and tobi said hes madara so it is hard to say
