Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan

If Kakashi has Mangekyo Sharingan in one eye, shouldn't he be able to either Ametarasu or Tsukuyomi? If he can't, why the heck not? If he can, why doesn't he use it already? Please discuss.

I think the abilities depend on the user for example the Uchihas have Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi but they don't have Kamui, unlike kakashi.

It can also be because kakashi isn't an uchiha as user above me said.

Also, Amaterasu & Tsukuyomi require the left & right eyes respectively. kakashi does not have sharingan in both eyes, so at most he can only use Amaterasu, assuming that the above 2 statements were false.

Hmmm all of you says because kakashi its not an uchiha .We just know his father but his mother was never mentioned if his mother was an uchiha or half uchiha that explains how kakashi has activated mangekyou sharingan think about it guys .

Wait, lets think logically here. Who remembers the 5 Kage Summit? the Mizukages bodyguard was not a Hyuga, but he possessed the Byakugan. Got it almost the same way Kakashi got his Sharingan even. So from that, we can deduce that the gift of ocular Kekkei Genkai is merely that you are born with the "hardware". Take those eyes out and put them in anyone else and they will work the same....so long as you can properly train yourself to use them. It also seems to give merit to the belief that those born with an occular Kekkei Genkai do not have any special prowess for activation of them. Again, slap em in anyone and they can activate them. Furthermore, I have always been led to the assumption that the Sharingan, much like a muscle, developed over use and infusion with chakra, not because there was any other sort of magic in their blood. It's development isnt a puberty ritual or manifests at age 15 or anything. It is understood that the Uchiha are known for having lots of chakra, a trait that developed in the clan as a result of the Sharingan being a chakra guzzler, so it is slightly understandable that Kakashi is not more impressive with it, he simply does not have Uchiha chakra levels and not able to train his Sharingan as long or as hard as an Uchiha, he makes loose reference to that while training Sasuke. The fact that he even achieved Mangekyo Sharingan is supposed to be a testament to the grade of Shinobi he is. Something like Amaterasu & Tsukuyomi might still be out of his league, respectively, considering the circumstances. Even with Kamui, we have to remember: Kamui, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susano'o, all of these jutsu were DEVELOPED at some point along the road. We are only assuming that we are privy to a complete list of all the Sahringan based jutsu there are. There could still be several more Jutsu and abilities out there that we havent seen or heard of yet, on top of the fact that new jutsu are developed every day and are limited only by the users imagination and ability to focus and cultivate chakra. Kamui could very well be a Kakashi exclusive, him not even being aware that Amaterasu & Tsukuyomi yet existed, let alone were Saringan based. This is all without even considering the genealogical possibility that Kakashi is distantly decendant from the Uchiha clan. It seems nearly everyone in the Leaf Village is at least distantly descendant from either the Uchiha or the Senju. Kakashi could definitely be one of the distant Uchiha descendants. So thats why I think Kakashi hasnt used Amaterasu, if it is even available to him due to the nature of him only having one eye (it could be one of those package deals, ya know? OH! and lastly! Zabuza and Haku even noted the modes of Kakashis Eye. The piercing eye and the hypnotic eye. Which suggests he does have some genjutsu abilities with his left eye, even if they arent honed very well...Kakashi isnt exactly the Genjutsu type anyway.

Kakashi obtained his sharingan from Obito, since he was not a Uchiha his body cannot fully process the sharingan, perhaps that has somthing to do with it?

Several issues here with the most noticeable the fact that Kakashi Sensei is not an Uchiha..Uchihas have a huge amount of chakra which means they can develop their occular powers easier and without the same effort as Kakashi..That's why Kakashi every time he uses kamui he spends huge amount of his chakra leaving him weakened after...But awakening Mangekyo and using kamui is something that states how great shinobi Hatake Kakashi is

read the manga again ull get ur answer. but short answer...you need both eyes to use amatarasu, one eye is to aim and the other to release the ability. kekashi activated the mangekyo sharingan do to rins dead. i think tsekuyome needs both eyes too. and susano requires and insane of chakra to create. all the abilities of the sharingan require insane amount of chakra to use so kekashi even if he had both eyes he might not be able to use most of its abilities do to his limitations in power. since he is not a uchicha to start with
