zeref hasnt even truly fought yet, all we know is that he make things die but madara is already dead.

Anyway until we see some kind of soul pulling magic or an actual serious fight of zeref im going with the immortal zombie who can summon meteors from the sky.

Acnologia is an seperate character from zeref he cant really summon it, although he can sense when it comes.

Even if zeref would have full control of acnologia ill still take the immortal zombie guy who summons meteors.

Immortality is a broad concept.

If you go feat wise Madara easily wins against Zeref who hasn't shown much to begin with.

Hype wise he probably could win but we don't know that yet. His hype is certainly more comparable to Rikudo Sennin.

You have different types of immortality.

1 is that you simply cant die of old age(most likely the one zeref has)

Another one is that you cant be killed by conventional means(which madara has)

ofcourse zeref is insanely powerfull but we dont know how powerfull so we cant truly debate it.

There are 7 types of Immortality.

Longevity as in living long.

Those where Body Harm doesn't kill like Hidan.

Regen such as Alucard.

God granted Immortality.

Absolute Immortality as in being truly impossible to die no matter what.

Bodyhopping like Orochimaru.

And of course, Undead.

Of course, some can have mulltiple versions of this at once.

For example Mokou but she's just unfair as the concepts of life and death are removed from her existance thus immune to every damage whatever it be, heck she can't even get sick.Easily among the hardest characters to take down in all of fiction.

Suspecting you mean alive Madara... Zeref wins either way. He has the power to just shatter everything near him to be dead.

Look at the sphere.

Now I also suspect This is the awakened Zeref. Then he kills even more as he has full control do to not knowing the meaning of life or what ever.
