It's annoying. I honestly prefer it on the left side, not in the center of the page. Too many users are used to it being on the left, there's no point in making a change in which everyone hates it

If it started in the middle, people would be used to that and you would all say how ugly it is because they moved it to the right. It takes time to get used to something, but I'm sure it won't end your life. And if it does, get out more.

I didn't make the choice, and I don't have the power to change that. I'm just playing devil's advocate. I always sort of wondered why it wasn't centered. Can't you guys just deal with change? This isn't really a big deal.

There are a million other ways to get to the homepage without clicking that link.

I'm saying that it should have never been done in the first place. It's not an inconvenience to me since I just spam click active topics.

If you make a change and nobody likes it, telling people therefore that their opinion isn't wanted is not only insulting, but very bad for the forums. If you made this change (assuming you were the owner) and you had people complaining about it, would you tell people that "I don't care what you think, this change is staying, deal with it." ? That is what your implying in both the post I quoted and a previous post.

Well, if you want to look at it from a symmetrical view.
There's already a forum link to the right side of the screen. So perhaps is was put on the left at first to balance it out or something..
