"Huh.. Oh no, thanks for waking me mom" I brush my teeth, get dressed and pack. "Bye mom" I went out the door and run to the pokemon lab. I see Professor Birchwood waiting outside "sorry I'm late Professor"
"That's fine, I heard you came from a family of world renowned breeders" she says "y-yes, I do" I feel like an idiot when I stutter.
"Well as you know today your getting your starter pokemon" her voice flawless. "I-I know" I say feeling like even more of an idiot. "Well today is your lucky day, we have three arrivals from the Johto region we we are done studying" Birchwood continued "well don't keep me waiting what are they" I say completely forgetting about stuttering "they are Chikorita the grass type, Totodile the water type and Cyndaquil the fire type." Birchwood chimes. I inspect the three starters, "I have come to a conclusion of Cyndaquil, I chose you"
"Good choice, have these for your journey" she hands me five pokeballs and a pokedex. "Good luck"
"Good bye Professor Birchwood. C'mon Cyndaquil"
