Actually, Sage, if he makes himself not care about pain, he won't feel it. He can just believe it's not fake and thus he won't feel it. Some guy did it with a candle and said-wait, never mind. I think he felt the pain, but it was just the practice of not caring so he didn't flinch. Idk.
