maybe it would if my hand signals were at my side... but hand signals are out front bent elbows. Around my upper arm (if I wasn't clear) it would be out of the way.

I wear my headband around my neck, but because that gets annoying (especially when your running if it isn't secured it keeps whacking your chin) so I also wear it like shikamaru on my arm.

I switch around a lot. For comfortable wearing, I simply tie it around my waist - like Lee's / Gai's. Sometimes I do put it around my forehead, old fashioned styled. Once in a while, I move it to the side (something like Zabuza's style) or tilt one side down (Kakashi's but not for too long).

I find wearing it around the neck to be bothersome.
