Yes but if you look at it closely that statement has a large streak of relativism. FT regular guilds are literally weak fodder as you can get although it's not as bad Soul Society fodder in terms of treatment.

It doesn't matter though because at worst case scenario Zero wins most likely. Kimimaro is the only threat to him and only because of his incredible durability.

The problem is that while Sound 5 has shown overall nastier abilities few of the Oracion Seis such as Zero has that typical enhanced durability and strength and range blasts.

Cobra's aeriel flight + listening magic + poison, the Sound 5 lack an actual counter for it minus Tayuya's Genjutsu.

Plus the Sound 4 were almost defeated by two Special Jounin (rank lower than Jounin) if it weren't for CS2.

I peg Oracion Seis at jounin level or above.
Sound 4 are at least elite chunin level and Kimimaro is at least jounin level.

I say though Oracion Seis will have some casualities though partly because of Kimimaro's immense durability and that Sound 4 has the overall greater versatile hax.

I would say the oracion seis would be comparable to the weaker akatsuki members.(hidan, kakazu, sasori,)

I doubt they could do anything against racers slowing magic. Also cobra can hear their thoughts so no suprise strategy possible.

Hot eyes has flippin laser eyes he should solo

And angels gemini(if she gets it) can transform into any of the sound four. So the oracion seis can do anything the sound four can and more.

And i only mentioned 3 members. Theres still midnight with his deva path/genjutsu like powers, Brain and the crazy dude within brain. And dont forget the staff :P

Anyway sound four gets stomped.

Cobra will know but that doesn't stop it. Nor does Cobra know what Genjutsu is.

Speed is relative. If you're slow, the person you're fighting is fast.

No. That is not really the case. He is only perceived as faster than he truly is!!!

But so is everything outside his range!!!

Racer cannot rely only on his slow down ability. Especially not when Sound five has speed advantage!!!

They don't have speed advantage when they are literally being slowed down.

It's a matter of perception. Within his range, things are slowed so he is perceived as faster. It doesn't matter if his speed doesn't increase. If they are slowed to a great enough point, he may as well be a fighter jet while he jogs.

First of all, that is within his range. But objects outside of his range are perceived as such, too!!!

Also, since he only appears fast, he doesn't get the benefits of actually being fast!!!

And Natsu and Gray and Lyon at that point weren't that fast compared to sound five. So, Racer's ability would only have minor effect!!!

Physically the sound five are superior by a hood bit. Fatboy suplexed giant choji, tayuya all but rapes, and the webs were only broken by plot. Kidomaru one weakness just happened to show up. Then there is the fact kimmimaro is like a tank and fast. Then dont forget the barrier. Sound five together is the better fighters.

I wouldn't say Hoteye, Angel, Racer are even comparable to Sasori or Kakuzu.

Gemini is only dangerous when it touches them and can only stay at such for 5 minutes.

Anyway sound four gets stomped.

If it occurs like what happened with Fairy Tail's light team where Oracion Seis displayed great teamwork then maybe.

But at worst case scenario Oracion Seis will end up losing several members.

Fairy tail is just now becoming strong physically. Almost everything before the skip gets raped. Characters in part 1 naruto were stil basically two stepping across a city. Fairytale wasn't doing any of that. Pretty sur they were still doing combat rolls around that time.

Speed differences would easily get compensated by racer slowing ability and Cobra mindreading.

Besides i dont remeber any of the sound four having an resistance to poison.

Zero matched Dragonforce NAtsu with ease.

Look at the Erigor fight the first major FT arc, you see some Sound 4 members taking Erigor's storm mail and his widescale wind directly?
