So Ichigo got kicked out of the King's dimension. Seems like we might be finally getting answers about his origin.

And Kenpachi is going to learn his Zanpakutou name and get even more powerful.

I finally thought things wouldnt get delivered to ichigo to a silver plate. But then the whole 'the fact you were able to do this is not normal ' line came, ichigo is going to rape so hard at the end of this arc its not even funny anymore.

Watch kenpachi shikai be a heavy machine gun which fires swords

Not exactly sure why Unohana had to die. I understand her personal reasons but still?

Also its better to have another captain capable of fighting.

Pretty good chapter looks like Unahana dies after all and Kenpatchi finally hears his zanpactous voice for the first time. I can't believe Renji passed with no trouble and Ichigo got his ass kicked. And looks like he is probably sent back to the world of the living or somewhere I do hope we see him go back and manage to pass that challenge soon though im sure we will at some point.

Besides even if Unohana is dead that doesn't mean her story is over.
Actually I seriously doubt it is since she's a member of Yamamoto's
Badass Crew of Bad Mofos. Sooner or later (probably later) we should
get a flashback of them especially since there's the whole mystery
of how Yamamoto failed to kill Yhwach a long time ago.

They could have done so without killing her off and even then, the problem is NOT that she is dead but the reason as to why and the how.

No, they couldn't. Like I said there can only be ONE highlander.
The whole point of the fight was so Kenpachi would learn the
art of killing and it was said at the very beginning that one of
them would die. Unohana sacrificed herself to make Kenpachi stronger.

Can't they just have two strong Kenpachis?

No.

Kenpachi had to lose Unohana in order to gain the art of killing.
Unohana's time as Kenpachi is done. It's time to pass the torch.

We can find out more about her bankai in a flashback.

Have patience we already know this will be a long arc.
We're not going to find out everything all at once.

I think her death was better than some random bad guy killing her or her dying from old age or really anything else. The way Kenpachi's character is done is actually pretty unique, because while you may see people holding back in anime, this guy did it subconsciously and was still overpowering most other people, which is why he had the bells and the eyepatch to begin with.

She was killed by one of her own undoing her earlier mistake. She's a martyr, which makes her FAR more interesting than she was before.

But the not explaining her bankai is an issue. Kubo sucks.

The entire chapter was great. Kenpachi's expression when he saw his Zanpacto was funny. Ichigo getting sent back to the minors was funny also.

As for ichigo... I think he might fix Zangetsu him self. BEing the only one to fully go as far with him in a short time to FGT. He built a bond that will fix its self imo.

Geez people it's called a flash back. If her bankai really needs explaining
then all Kubo has to do is show a past fight she had and explain it there.

Or as I speculate her bankai could have transferred to Zaraki
this would make her death even more meaningful as it wouldn't
just break the mental constraints put on Zaraki but her own
death would be the key to Zaraki achieving bankai.
