In comparison to many other countries America has a high standard of living and people are free to live their life largely how they choose (but this is true for many other countries for that matter, i.e. Canada, UK, Germany, Sweden, etc.), and so I'm thankful for that. That being said there are still many problems in America *cough* Gun violence *cough* and lots of ignorance here as well (an astoundingly large percentage of Americans cannot locate America on a world map). No place is perfect, that's just how the world is.
