Really? You want to go to the wooden spikes death, you mean the plot devise death of Neji that Kishi used to progress the story even though we all know that if Neji weren't protecting Naruto and Hinata he could have easily dodged?

Neji has literally did next to nothing in the second part. Not really a low end. The highlight of his career is fighting kisame's clone with his team. Fast forward he is struggling with zetsu. Fast forward past that he is getting overwhelmed by the wooden stakes. Nothing in the story suggest Neji is really that powerful.

the only long rang jutsu PTS Kakashi has are all water style that require a water source therefore all he really has is close range.

Totally irrelevant really when Raikiri is constantly implied to be tremendously fast and doesn't even need Handseals.

Yeah seeing your clan all of a sudden isn't an obvious sign of genjutsu. But I see where your coming from . But this is not a confirmed fear. After all death frees the hyuuga in a way. Plus neji can use body blow to break him out of the genjutsu. Or cause himself little pain. The genjutsu is not that strong. Neji would instantly break out with his chakra control.

there is nothing irrelevant about it, regardless of it's lack of hand seals it still has to be charged before the attack is made. Kakashi has never shown himself to even be as fast as weightless lee in part one. So please tell me how exacly Kakashi lands a hit on Neji AT ALL without getting smacked by rotation or dodged and having his chakra points blocked?

There was nowhere in the Manga that shows it can't be fooled by Genjutsu just Neji wankers assuming so cause they don't even understand that Byakugan see's Chakra of another person thus seeing irregularities as Genjutsu affects the Brain which is part of the Chakra Pathway system by sending ones own Chakra into it to disturb the senses of the Cerebral System.

In short:
Of course Ao saw through Genjutsu but nowhere does it say it works on one self.

Charging is fast, chapter 70 shows that as it was ready to use near instantly, just arm down, done.

You're claiming weightless Lee is faster than Kakashi just because it wasn't shown?

You really think the genjutsu would do that much? It would be easy for Neji to realize he is in genjutsu and take have the time to break out of it with his great chakra control. Plus Kakashi would have to be still to use the genjutsu.

even without the bkyugan it would be easy to tell on wa sin genjutsu. Afterall Sakura saw though it. And PTS Sakura is the only one it worked on.

That is why Neji can use Air Palms or rotation as well.
Neji can keep it at mid range if needed. The sharigan seeing Air Palms would use up even more chakra from looking at it. Neji can keep his distance or worst case use 64palms ealier but I doubt that would happen
