where are the anbu and why do they suck so much. Now i know that all the countries are united but there are alot of rogue ninja and small criminals worth leaving a few behind. We have two of the strongest criminals that want destroy the leaf walking around town with out no resistents...... every one there is endanger

They would be short on people since majority of everyone would be assembled out of their "anbu" units and in their respective ranks. Or since the anbu IMO are the closest thing to actual ninjas in this show, they operate in secrecy. As go the current high risk group waltzing around without being stopped, well to be honest the anbu can't handle them anyways. It would be best to watch their actions and not provoke them since they would be short on staff anyways that would be the smartest action. And its not worth wasting a panel on the anbu unless they are noticed by someone as the anbu has no main/secondary characters to report to.

ANBU are always the weakest.

They die in one shot.

Except Itachi and Kakashi, they're BOSSES!

Ha, yeah right. The anbu totally suck. They couldn't do any thing just to save their lives. How about when Deidara managed to kill off an entire op team. And they didn't even know that he was there! How does that failure happen?!? As of yet, the only skilled anbu that we've seen in action are Kakashi, Yamato, Sai,possibly Danzo, and Itachi, and they aren't even anbu anymore!

"Yamato" officially is still on a mission from Tsunade as thats not his real name. He is still anbu. The reason the anbu cant handle people like Deidara (A person who can match his skills to a biju/jinkurichi.) Not to mention deidara took down Gaara alone. Yoh cant compare anbu to ANY main or secondary protagonist/antagonist. The anbu sadly wasn't given an important role in the series. For example in the star wars series the "elite" storm troopers were reduced to rookies in the face of main/secondary characters. In short they are only relevent to lowly minor characters.

Yea. That's why he's still with team Kakashi. He hasn't retired from the ANBUs yet.

Yeah, ANBU suck mostly, remember how Yugao swore to avenge Hayate/Kill Baki?

Well Kishi doesn't.

Swear to God if I had an Artist I'd do a Manga myself if the bar is so low as Kishi put it.

Totally, thanks for the correction! The other weird thing about Yamato is that he probably wouldn't be as good as he is right now if Orochimaru hadn't experimented on him as a kid. Kinda makes you wonder how skilled he really is...
