Without a doubt, the First and Fourth will tear up the battlefield when and if they get there. I wouldn't be surprised if the Second is a freakin beast as well, what with his expert control of Water style and being able to make large amounts of water anywhere. But from what we know of the Third by hype, in his prime(or probably now, when he's an Edo zombie)was/is a strong ninja. He'll probably be able to cause some real chaos as well. So in short, all of them. :P

The fourth will dominate at what ever he does and we truly don't know all that he could and now that he is back he can practice on doing rasenshuriken he still has so much potential

I have a feeling that Kishi is going to do the opposite of what we all think is gonna happen. He'll probably troll us and make the 4 hokages attack the shinobi alliance which is the opposite of what we all hope is going to happen which is them breaking the edo and helping.

4th and 1st. The first is known as the greatest Ninja outside of the SO6P, but the 4th is just a beast and will find someway to break the Edo and probably help out.

I'll say second. You break out as soon as you feel emotion and are ok to pass on t=from the physical world. Minato could break out long before he has to fight Naruto.

I think the second will get the biggest rep increase. He was a great administrator and inventor (of jutsu ET, and maybe his form of T/S)

We can finally compare his water technique + unlimited chakra to Kisame, who happened to have the most chakra in Akatsuki (some incorrectly say Nagato). He should flood the field around juubi.

This is how it starts. The Kage show up in front of Madara. madara talks trash about, "the only one worth my time is Hashi...

BAM!!!!, A fist pushing his jaw over in slow motion, his skin folding over and getting waves of shock going through it. And we see the signature sleeve of Minato.

He can handle Madara, the 3rd, Tobi, and the brothers take out the juubi with floods and roots. And the biggest Summons in Naruto, Tobirama's Great white, bigger than Manda 2.

It'd be real tough if the alliance had to deal with Madara, Tobi, Juubi AND Sasuke, Juugo, Suigetsu, Orochimaru, Hashirama, Tobirama, Sarutobi and Minato.

If Sasuke & Co. entered into, making it a 3 way battle, that'd be extremely hectic and crazy to read.

And unless Tobi revives Madara to life with Rinnegan so he can become the Jinchiruuki (which would take time and not be feasible in combat), there won't be a need for all the hokages to fight.

So its a delicate balance of where that fighting power is necessary.

But to answer the OP's question, I think Kishimoto would have Sarutobi and Tobirama steal the show since we know what Hashirama's power is capable of, having seen it all over the place thus far, and we also know what Minato is up to.

Minato would be on technique, stealing shots as opposed to huge feats of power imo.

Tobirama, with Edo Tensei chakra, would probably do mass-effect jutsu and impress us. And Sarutobi might go nuts with all kinds of elemental jutsu combos. Those two haven't really been seen doing much in relation to their reputation. Sarutobi was an old geezer with a fraction of his chakra when he beat Orochimaru.
