Why would edo give a new technique.. Did you see every edo'd person summoned by kabuto using a new techinique and having new powers? No. Do you see any of the previous kage summoned by kabuto having a new power? No. Why would edo give a new power to the dead all it does is give the person unlimited chakra and the inability to die.

well it give feature associated with ems to those of dying sharingan so it is like ems but only edo version becuase of tht you develop new tech since body can handle it.

plus both saske and itach develop magatami only with immortal eyes is what isay = ems :]

Sigh... I give up arguing against your logic saying he unlocked the EMS through edo while everyone else in this thread thinks otherwise. The Edo tensei gives unlimited chakra. that's all. What facts? How it let him see? That is just the edo's power to make him more efficient in battle. How itachi could use the yasaka magatama? Just because the amaterasu magatama sasuke used after he unlocked the EMS doesn't mean that the yasaka magatama has to do with EMS at all, you're just thinking that it does. if itachi really did get an EMS it would have the design of 2 combined MS sharingans. case closed don't want to argue with your crazy logic anymore.

Sasuke had not the ability to utilize Amaterasu and Susano'o's powers to the full extent at the same time before. In the manga, it shows that Sasuke has far surpassed what he was before.

Plus, I doubt 'Ultimate' Susano'o can be utilized without EMS.

hmm well he seem to still have same power set most of it couldnot be utilize because he was exhuasted after fighting so many kage at once. he could do the samthing except new blaze tech.
