Ehhh, that new Dante could go die for all I care. Since I haven't played the new one due to it being beyond dumb and ridiculous.......

Kratos wins.

Unless the new Dante has the same endurance as the old one.

I only ever played God of War 3, and compared to the new Dante(who is well on his way to being just as strong as the old Dante), Kratos would crush him. The new Dante hasn't totally discovered his powers yet. Given a bit more time, this could be a good fight.

Meh I say that about a lot of games that turned out alright. Asura's wrath being one of them. Though to be honest the anime like storyline was what kept me interested.

Actually, the new game is set in an alternate universe. Its a totally different Dante. But yeah, this would be a way better fight if this was the Dante from DMC 1-4.

Note new dante is the start of the remake of the DMC series from another person prospective. So he is half angel half demon etc. And mundus was the final boss to the first dmc ever made so

The only reason why it became alternate universe was because DMC fans cried foul over it.
