Let's all vent. Because I really need to.
If you're not sensitive to people's problems, get out.

Let's try to help each other in here. I think there are some people, maybe just me, that may need a helping hand. This is a somewhat anonymous place, so I would rather talk here than to real people. It's just easier.

So what's wrong in your life?

My grandfather has just been diagnosed with cancer.
My grandmother is having heart surgery.
I lost all motivation to do anything, aside from get an A in math because it's my grandfather's favorite subject. He's a college professor. A real genius, too.
My old camp counselor/neighbor is dead, I grew up with her.
My friend's grandfather died on his birthday.
My other friend's grandmother died recently.
I'm lonely.
Life is just a drag.
Friends blow me off all the time.
My sister is dating a drug addict. (I'm sort of friends with this kid, but I don't like him for my sister.)
My sister started lying to my mom out of nowhere, I think she's doing things I don't like, to keep it brief.
My parents think I'm a burnout delinquent.
I think I'm a disappointment to my entire family.

So yeah. If anything, I just need someone to talk to.

Your grandfather has cancer huh? Heh mine does to he's had it for years only reason he was fine for so long is that he had a cancer free thing but thats gone now and he getting treatment next week. One of my sisters has a rare disease that she is having a really hard time with and has gotten opperations many times cause of that *sigh* and there is a chance she might not be around much longer. Also lost one of my cats I had for so many years. Apearently we have been having a hard time for a while with losses and also with families with diseases which sucks.

My grandmother is having heart surgery.

Math is good. But the lack of motivation thing I sorta Understand. I get in spells like that where I just don't want to do anything. Hope it blows over fast, if it doesn't, it'll take some effort, but you'll need to look for something to throw yourself into, get involved in, you know?

Death is always hard to deal with, and many so close to each other is especially difficult. But you just have to let these things take their course. You can only remember those people as they were and learn something from their lives that you can keep with you. The impact they make on you lasts forever, as long as you keep it in mind.

one close friend keeps trying.to kill her self
the rest are seeing a psych about the first
three of.them are having a break down
my friend accused my other friend of rape
another friend is always in hospital
and another one has desided prostitution looks like a good career choice and nearly got herself raped in an alley

So all my problems relate to dealing with the above.

yeah, he just had his first chemo treatment a few days ago. The worst part is that I don't have any money so I can't afford a plane ticket to go see my grandparents. I've been trying to get a job, but I've been having trouble with my working papers and crap. Nothing is going my way right now on that front.

I'm sorry about your sister. My sister is my twin, and it kills me to see her getting involved with the wrong people. My sister has always been the good kid, too, so no matter what I tell my parents they think she's innocent. But as the kid who was always considered the degenerate, I know all of the tricks of the trade, and she is NOT innocent. I just wish my parents weren't a bunch of ignorant dumbasses to be honest.

Thanks for sharing. It makes me feel better to see that other people are going through some rough times. It's cool to know that there are others i can get through this with. ^_^

My grandfather is currently ill too, I believe he was diagnosed with cancer as well although I'm not too sure on the details. He's had it before. He was in the hospital for a while recently, broke his back and then got pneumonia while in the hospital for that. So I can sympathize. It can be hard to stay positive through negativity, but keep your head up.

You seem like a smart kid so I don't see why anyone would call you a burnout.

That's horrible. My grandfather has a bunch of issues with his body. Mostly a result of poor diet and lack of exercise. You know what they say in that commercial about how a body in motion tends to stay in motion is true, despite it sounding like BS. You keep your head up too. ^_^

It's probably because I haven't made the best choices to date and I like skateboards. My dad is such a hard ass. I just wish he would let me make the same mistakes he did so that I can live a life too, you know? I guess I just tell my parents too much.

Sorry if you take offence to this but forget everything on that list because only one thing is important and that is to get your sister away from that man, as her brother you have to sort this out because if you do nothing you could end up with a sister who's addicted to all sorts of drugs and that is something you don't want. To solve this you can either tell your parents so they can sort this out but your sister won't forgive you for a long time but that's worth it, two have a heart to heart with your sister and tell her about how she should get rid of your boyfriend so she can continue her life without getting in to any kind of trouble but this will only work if you have a good relationship with your sister. Or 3 which is quite simple beat the hell out of her boyfriend so he stays away from her. How old are you and your sister if you don't mind me asking.

Sorry about all that hopefully things will go well for you and your grandparents I know its not easy losing them hopefully you'll see them soon and all and that they can get through this.

Thanks she's been getting crap all over her body and has gotten operations on those and now is getting crap in her lungs as well no how many operations she goes through it just doesn't seem to go away. And thats cool your sis is your twin this sis of mine is like 20 years younger then me and is only 4 and someone her age shouldn't go through that so either this disease should just go away or she should pass on so she doesn't suffer anymore even if it would suck big time but better to die then to suffer from something that doesn't go away. And that sucks you sister has done that hopefully at some point she'll change her mind and make the right choices and not get into anymore trouble. I know another sister of mine has done a lot of stuff she wasn't supposed to do with her friends and my dad and her kept telling her and warning her all the time but she never listened and so she got into trouble more then once she's better now at least. And yeah some parents are stubborn and don't do a damn thing for their kids your parents should realize all the wrong stuff she did.

Although it is true I have had to see too many friends and family go through cancer not all of which came back alive
My Grandad also went through heart surgery too a year back and has been diagnosed with cancer along with me losing my Nan last year it's difficult... I think I understand

And in regards to the friends and family thing... well first of all if thats the case with your 'friends' you need to question if they really are your friends then because there's no point wasting your time on them is there?
And with your family I understand but what I just think is.. at the end of the day the only expectations you need to worry about is your own.. you do not live for your family you live for yourself so unless you've dissapointed yourself it shouldn't matter

Yeah. :/ I haven't seen him in a few years, so we aren't as close as we once were, but I don't feel very good about it. Loss is something I've had to prepare myself for, since both my grandparents are pretty elderly. Doesn't really make it much easier to handle though. And thank you, dear. ^__^

We all make mistakes, but the skateboard thing is a horrible reason to call someone a burnout imo. As hard as they are on you, on some level I think your parents ought to appreciate your honesty. They just want good things for you.

Life is what you're experiencing, it sucks, it's teaching you right now how to make the right choices, I've been there.. I wanted to have fun and party all the time, and I did, sadly. Compared to what you're dealing with.. Death of friends and family members, it would kill me to have to experience of my loved ones passing away, yet, you're still showing resistance to life. Headstrong, you're emotionally stronger than you think. I'm sorry about your grandfather, it must be hard to go with what you're dealing with, but I swear to you, the light at the end of the tunnel is near, keep that same attitude you have, and you'll make it. You'll find happiness.

I wish the best for your grandfather's future and hope that his death, is one of being able to let go freely, instead of one of disease or pain.

He's coming over tomorrow, and I let my parents know. When he was like 13 he overdosed on oxy and when had his stomach pumped for popping pills while he was drinking. I have no issues with puffin' on some wacky tobaccy sometimes, but it seriously is NOT good to have habits like that. I can't help it, I can't tell my parents. They won't listen. I don't know what to do.

And yeah, about the parents, I don't think they're bad parents. I think that they're unwilling to come to grips with the fact that my sister is getting involved with the wrong group of people. They're in denial and there's nothing i can do to change that aside from catching her and proving it to my parents. I'm not the sabotage type either. I just hope she doesn't end up in jail or dead.

I think it's the skater stereotype. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty good guy, though. P: And my dad grew up in the days when weed wasn't laced with a bunch of synthetic shit and people were all up to no good. It's still like that and I'm sometimes up to no good, but he's been asking me if I am on drugs since I was 10 years old. I just feel like he's TOO hard on me is all. Like he doesn't appreciate the good I do too.

I don't remember the name but like I said its really rare she's one of the 50 people in the world with it its something that makes part of her body all bloated up and purple looking it looks pretty nasty.

Well no they might not be they sound like they are just laid back parents and not all stricked which she should try to be just not too stricked if you know what I mean just enough to shape her up so she doesn't do anything that she or anyone will regret later on. It is good your concerned for her at least. And yeah hopefully none of that happens to her.

I think the thing I hate most about my life isn't the specific things that make it hard to live. More of the fact that my life is a sob story, from beginning, to now. There have been happy moments, and the past year has been good for me. I got out of my depression, and I learned how to deal with problems in my family. Is that normal? Is that how it's supposed to be when you move on?
