Lately I've been seeing this theory referenced a lot when people are stating their points in their debates.. Can someone please clarify with me where and/or why this theory ever came to place? I mean its not like absolutely ridiculous or anything like that but I got to admit it is kind of random (at least to me). I don't think it would present any real value to the plot (besides Naruto somehow having the capability to unlock the sharingan.. but that would be lame)

Huh?

Minato seems to be the very opposite of Uchiha by name meaning alone.
Uchiha = Uchiwa the Paper Fan used to make flames hotter in relation to the Uchiha excelling in Fire Jutsu.

In contrast Namikaze = Waves and Wind which brings along the relation to Uzumaki with Whirlpools.
If anything Namikaze might be somehow involved with Yamato who's real name by the way is still unrevealed as Yamato is a codename given by Tsunade and Tenzo being his ANBU codename.

Anyway, Wind and Waves, remember that Naruto and Yamato once used a combination of Water and Wind based Jutsu against Kakuzu, Typhoon Water Vortex.

This is referrenced as a possible way for Naruto to become the sage of the 6 paths. Uzumaki DNA stands in for senju. If Namikaze is revealed to be a "distant cousin," to the uchiha, then it valides the possibility that the recombining of DNA will make Naruto into the sage....

...and give him stage 1 of creating reality from illusion... a new set of sage duds out of thin air.(I added this).

Tobi said that all the Hokages had been Senju when describing how the uchiha were being oppressed by Konoha

As he said that a background image of the Hokage monument appeared.

If his statement was true Namikaze have to be Senju

Yea...just as the Uzumaki are related to the Senju...so is the Namikaze to Uchiha...that's what I believe!...

I had predicted this almost two years ago...

The uchiha inherited the sages SPIRITUAL ENERGY + SPECIAL CHAKRA
the Senju inherited the sages NATURAL ENERGY + LIFE FORCE

The Uzumaki Inherited the sage SPECIAL CHAKRA (from the Uchiha) + LIFE FORCE (from the Senju) which makes them related to Senju (though it's entirely possible they're related to Uchiha too)...

The Namikaze possess PHYSICAL ENERGY (from the Senju) and SPIRITUAL ENERGY (from Uchiha) which makes them related to Uchiha (though it's entirely possible they're related to senju too)...

So when Kushina and Minato came together... their offspring (NARUTO) inherited the PHYSICAL ENERGY from Minato and LIFE-FORCE from Kushina...Reverting him back into a full Fledged SENJU...

Although too constructive, it's not too complicated for kishi to conceive at all...

no.. im still not buying into it. i believe naruto is direct descendent of senju because (just my opinion, and what i think would be an awesome plot hole filler) minato is actually the child of tsunade + dan and that dan (because we still don't know his full name) is a namikaze. tsunade being the granddaughter of the first would validate obito saying that all hokages are direct descendents of senju, being the hashirama would be minatos great grandfather. this would make naruto directly related to hashirama and he STILL could posses the rinnegan if implanted because of his uzumaki descent (uzumaki being distant cousins of senju is legitamite to me, but namikaze being distant cousins of uchiha is a little more far-fetched)

as i stated in my post above uzumaki doesnt have to "stand in" for senju because naruto is a direct descendent of senju (he has senju dna). but overall (and i might be wrong, i probably will be because i have been many times in the past lol) i think it would be a bad story line to have naruto be the reincarnation of the so6p he should be more similar to the first (who was not a reincarnation of the so6p) but brought peace to the ninja world with his immense power, prestige and charisma, not being a duplicate of a character from the past but his own (in my eyes, "god-like") character.

But anybody using this as an argument is just conjecture, not a fact.
Therefore, has no place in a debate until proven correct, it is just a theory.

You can fight theories with more theories, but nothing more.
