Question about Anime characters.
So I'm just going to assume that all anime characters are drew by asian people. So my question is sense anime characters are drew by asian people, does that make all anime characters asian?
Just curious. Been wanting to know this for a while. |

no that's just silly. Anime characters can be any race that the creator of the series wants them to and there has been many non-asian anime characters.

And Gintama has some diverse races in there once in a while It's funny too Taka tin from Gintama, an American character. Him and his French bread. Hahah. He only knows English.

New season. Wooo! Anyways. Back to topic. Some other examples of non Asian characters(excluding gin in the bottom)  This was Gin's old Yorozuya team. One guy has a psychogun as an arm, the woman has a sake bottle(cuz of her past, not going into detail), and the guy in the way back is the mascot. Forgot their names....

A lot of characters are japanese,but there are some set in Europe.
But I think your definition of anime is too narrow, since south park by definition can be argued to be an anime

most anime characters are asian but not all of them. Iv'e seen a country person from a anime. But no they dont have to be asian. Many anime's are focused around japan though.

Did anybody else find it kind of weird that in Naruto, there is a village full of Black people, and no where else in the world was there Black people?
