Grand Magic Games Arena.

Mairo walks into the arena, the roar of the crowd preventing him from hearing very much. He looks across at his opponent, fancy looking, blond hair and blue eyes. "Honestly I'm kinda surprised Dark Guilds were allowed to compete, we don't have the best track record at being fair" he spoke, out loud, but it likely wouldn't be heard due to the crowds cheering which was directed toward the fancy looking one apart of the Great and Mighty Holy Wrath guild, Troy Goulding. Thinking on the subject of that guild Mairo began to wonder what he got himself into. "Well no need to be rude" he muttered to himself before speaking up.

"Hey there, I'm Mairo Harzever, I know that there's a possibility that you hate my guts, but let's not let that get in the way and have some fun while we're here, fine with you?" Mairo said to the Mage across from him, now speaking in a louder tone as he took a fighting stance, both arms raised toward his opponent with dominance on his right side.

[Shisko Shi]

Me and Noctis will Judge this.

"Hmm these two look like a good match." I say the the Chairmen.

[Noctis Arashi]

"Hm....Quite."

[Hozuki]

Troy entered the arena to a roaring crowd. The stands were filled as most people held posters of the two contestants as well as their guilds. He saw the other one, looking rather elegantly dark and sly as well. He saw the chairmen and the other guy whisper to each other. The other man shouted to him as he took a fighting stance but could t hear him over the crowds. Troy had no effort to reply so he just began the fight.

"White Needle!" Troy pointed his staff at the man as light quickly extended from it's top, speeding towards the man.

[Maxtone]

"Huh!? Guess not." Mairo decided as he say the Troy pointed his staff toward him and ejected a magical ray of light. Mairo, already in stance hastily raised his left leg up into a mid kick, kicking the White Needle spell into the ground around 3 meters right of him by imbuing the kick with Nullification Magic.

He lowered his leg after the kick and returned to stance. "Hey-hey! I know you guys are elite but don't look down on us 'lesser' guilds." he spoke with a smile. Mairo considered using Sleep Magic to try to subdue his younger opponent but he then reconsidered, knowing that he would be booed away by some entertainment deprived crowd members or attacked by cash deprived gamblers.

Mairo instead ran towards his opponent closing the distance quickly as he approached his opponent. Mairo then began his attack starting with a right kick that he would reveal to be a faint, whipping around and instead attacking with his left "Fouette" he spoke, charging his kick with Magical Power that would increase the damage of the attack beyond the limits of a normal Martial Artist.

"Come on Troy you got this, prove our Guild to be the best..."

*Stand's up in a heerleading outfit. And begins to cheer Troy on with my pompom's.

[Hozuki]

Troy is confused when the man easily shrugs off the light attack. As he notices his guild master cheer in the stands, he looks away.

"K-Kami..." He then notices the man charge at him and prepare to kick him. "Earth Gravitation: Repel!" Troy stuck his hands out and released a powerful, repelling force of gravity when the man was in front of him.

[Noctis Arashi]

Gravity Magic? No. Get out.

Wow, I thought this was free magic world?

[Noctis Arashi]

No. Gravity magic is/was my biz. Now it's no longer unique to me, and therefore uninteresting.

*scraps character*

No individual will be individual. More points for BFV where everyone was at least a little diverse.

[Maxtone]

@Noctis: Despite the fact that multiple people have similar or the same Magic in Fairy Tail? If you think you should then cool I guess.

As Mairo wasn't prepared to use Nullification Magic he was surprised as he flew back with a spell from Troy that released a wave of gravity. Mairo let out a grunt as he fell to the ground with a backward roll to break the fall. "Ouch" Mairo said, picking himself up and dusting himself off. The crowd cheered even louder as 'The Bad Guy' was humiliated.

"Well, at least you seem to be taking me seriously now!" Mairo shouted across the distance to his opponent. Preparing his Nullification Magic once more, he rushed his target once more, this time with a punch while saying "Direct Bras Avant" while swinging swiftly with his righthand, ready to nullify another spell.

[Noctis Arashi]

Actually, only bluenote has ever used straight up gravity. And I was the gravity character in this verse and it was stolen from me. You noobs.

[Hozuki]

(Planetary Magic is able to use basic gravitation spells like attraction and repulsion. I can't actually lower or heighten the gravity in a whole area. Btw, where is your sheet Max, I actually do not know what nullification magic is xD Unless it's exactly like the name but I want to know da specifics.)

[Noctis Arashi]

(Doesn't matter, you still use gravity. Which is my bis. And all gravity is is attraction and repulsion.)

(Nullification Magic is within the wiki, but I'll explain anyway because you asked. It 'Nullifies' Magic attacks and discharges them away from the user. It doesn't completely get rid of them/disperse them. For the record Mairo can only use it from his limbs, so no lolforcefield will happen.)
