Pokemon X and Pokemon Y - Page 2

Let's see... I started my 1st Gen III with a grass type. I started my Gen IV with a Grass type as well. But I started my Gen V with a Water type...

Ugh. I would go with a fire type, but everyone and their mother is gonna be using that, soooooooooo I'll go with Froakie because it looks dead serious and almost badass.

I'm hoping that the fire starter isn't going to be Fire/Fighting, because I'm getting sick of that. Also WHY can't it be in regular DS??? That's yet ANOTHER gen that I have never played on DS (the other being 3rd gen). *sighs* Now I'll never be able to complete my SS national dex.

The fox is based on Fennec Foxes. And I remember hearing about them being endangered or something. It seems better for it to be a dual Ghost type if anything really.

Honestly, It needed to move onto the 3DS at some point so why not now?

Ha ha ha. Thats what I said too. My guess is that Fennekin will probably be used a lot, but then there's also going to be people who think like you, and pick one of the others. I actually was going to pick Froakie too just because everyone seems to not like that one, and I like to pick the ones that nobody likes, too. lol XD. And it doesnt really matter which pokemon you choose, there's going to be countless other pokemon on the game that are capable of taking either one of them down. Take Emboar for example: Lots of people chose him as their starter last time, but great pokemon like Seismitoad were able to make quick work of him. Same for Samurott and Serperior, and pretty much every starter in existence.

gen 5 had the worst starters in competive battling all 3 ended up in never use

gen 3 is the best in competive battling one in ubber, 1 in under used , and 1 in rarely used
gen 1 and 4 both have 1 in over used, 1 in under used, and 1 in never used (charizard remembers when sleath rock didn't exist and it was in over used)
gen 2 has 2 in rarely used and the last in never use

The whole point of the game was for it to be on the 3DS, since it made sense for them to make one for the new handheld and everyone was already waiting for one. You might as well get a 3ds, the price dropped anyway.

How do you know what a Pokemon looks like?

As for the starters the fire starter looks like a fusion of Zorua and Deerling. The grass starter looks like a rejected oshawott design,and the water starter looks like a pre evo for Palpitoad.

Those legends are cool looking,but I'll get whatever game has that bird.

They released the names for the 2 new legendary pokemon. Their names are Xerneas,and Yveltal.

Its also been confirmed that the number of pokemon is now over 700 though that was pretty obvious.
