Naruto Shippuden Episode 296 Discussion

Alright! The long awaited episode has finally arrived! We're back to the
main plot of the story and Naruto is showing us all kinds of moves he has
worked on during his nine tails training! From massive vacuum rasengans
to mini rasen-shurikens. I think the fight-animation is still lacking a bit though.
The attacks seems a bit dull and aren't very creative. I wish the artists could put a small bit more time in to making nicer animations,

especially
now that it's coming to possibly the second last arc of the naruto story
(last arc being the arc with Sasuke and Orochimaru).

Zetsu's are
flying left right and centre, as they all get taken down by Naruto and Bee.
I'm looking forward to the battle between Gaara's squad and the 4 Kage.
Hopefully the animation isn't as boring as today's episode. All in all, I enjoyed
this episode. It didn't have much screen-time for any of the other squads,
which I would've liked but ah well.

Can't wait to see Naruto's next 9-tails form in an episode. It's gonna look awesome!

It was good but Naruto in Nine Tails Chakra Mode fighting didn't live up to the hype (so far anyway) I hope in the future they make it less dull and put more effort into the animations and battle strategies (I don't read the Manga so idk what that mode is capable of yet)

Pretty cool finally see Naruto and Bee kick some ass and totally seeing Naruto use some of his bad ass movies and being able to take out the white Zetsu's and also taking out that lightning ninja guy with just one blow. And finally we are about to see the fights with he Kages.

I mean he had this awesome build up he looked cool and it seemed like things were going his way and he was going to have the spotlight for a bit and then naruto just jumps out of nowhere like

Do you mean kyuubi skills? And yes I caught the "complete" hint as well..

Directed straight towards kakashi. Something about Rin maybe? Or it's like that other theory going around about the Juubi's will coming out of Obito. The Juubi is the one who wants to become complete, not Obito!!

Yup animations were a bit dull. Nothing as epic as before, kinda like yeah bitches I got new powerup here's a bunch of new tricks I got.. done! As for the manga, well.. it will get interesting

Loved that part

Yeah I'm finding the same happening with the seven ninja swordsmen. For all their hype about how strong they were, kishi isn't really using them to their full potential. That magnetic style user was feared, yet one rasengan finished him. I know if kishi put a lot of effort into these fights the war would drag on forever, but in fairness some of them have got to put up some sort of fight!

The news part lasted 3 minutes. Not worth it.

I think it lasted too long, but was important to get everyone back in the jist of the war, since it's been SOO long since we've seen any of it

At the end of the NEWS, there was a moment with "LIVE" Mabui talking to Naruto and Bee.
Bee said something about focusing the CAMERA, and it looked that way.

Oh sorry i didn't mean that. I meant how could Bee and Naruto have had a camera when they were rushing to battle :P

It still doesn't really feels like war, none of the known characters die. I agree with the above that the magnet style user would have potential, and it's lame that Naruto doesn't need tactics to defeat enemies. I kind of miss the time where he really has to trick his enemy to create an opening to win (like his match against Kiba before Shippuden).

100% agree with what you said there. But I'm still excited to see naruto's new powers. I think naruto should be obviously much stronger than everyone else, but the reanimation ninja should be able to dodge and defend themselves at least a little..

But I suppose if Naruto was having trouble with them lot, how would he ever stop Obito/Madara/Juubi. The story wouldn't work
