"Leo" Messi win 4th straight Ballon d'or
Lionel Messi has won his 4th straight Ballon d'or, a title given to the best football(soccer) player. Captains of national teams, coaches, and journalist all around the world vote for who wins. This is the first time a player wins 4 ballon d'or. He now has more ballon d'ors that any other player. He also scored 91 goals in 2012 callendar year smashing Gerd Mueller's record of 85 gols back in 1972.
Fun fact: In 2007 Messi won 3rd place, placing behind Ronaldo in 2nd, and Kaka who won it. In 2008 Messi was second place to Ronaldo who won it. And finally in 2009 Messi won his first Ballon d'or and has not lost the title since. |

Yea I know I think Mueller scored more gols than games he had. And I know for West Germany he had 68 gols in 62 games.

Ronaldo or inesta should of won it, I know messi beat mueller's record but what did barca win in 2012? For all the goals he scored barca still lost the la liga to real and only made the semis in the CL. I know barca won the Copa del rey but that isn't enough to take the award in my point of view.
