My dad ordered Windows 8
I was like : W7 is better on PCs :/
He was like : no, IT'S ON SALE, just $40. I was like : I WANT DUAL BOOT. He was like : HELL NO. I was like : BUT ALL MY PROGRAMS WILL BE GONE. He was like : YOU DUMB KID. THEY WILL STILL BE THERE. I was like : oh, kay.

It's true though. When my last computer almost died a couple of years ago, they installed Windows 7 to it when it was Windows Vista. Everything's the same except for a few "default" things, but that's okay.

Don't compare vista to 7.
 I've had this windows 7 laptop for 2 years and it only crashed once because I used a registry cleaner,but on my vista comp. It not only crashed 3 times in a 6 month span,but the fourth it just went ploop

Vista was fine, but W7 was better for lazy people. I love the taskbar.
W8 is good too, but it's more tablet-like. I don't hate it though.

Lol, Vista can never be compared to W7, my Vista desktop is decent, it'll go months without having any sort of problems, since getting W7 though, I've only had 2 problems in the last 5 years, huge HUGE difference from when I had Vista, W8, I don't know, tell me how it is, tell me if you have faster web browsering, if you can actually play mmorpg's on it better (if you play those sort of games).

I have a old vista. It is fine, just depends on how you take care of it. imo.
I had the windows phone and trust me windows 8 will get real annoying
