Mystic Ninjutsu discussion thread

OK so I've decided to create another role play, only this time it won't be Naruto, it'll be about Ninja's with magical powers so they have ninja skills, but instead of using ninjutsu they use spells.

Now there are two kinds of two kinds of people the Keeper and Seekers, Keeps are people born at night and Seekers are people born during the day. Seeker can do white magic, which basically means magic powered by light and Keepers use Black Magic, magic powered by Darkness.

Now just because you use Black Magic does not make you evil, just like using white magic does not make you good.

People who use White magic are blessed by the gods/goddess's and the angels while people who use black magic are cursed by Devils and Demons. In this world light and dark are just two halves of the same coin, it's like a balance things, none of them are actually good or bad, that depends on how you use your powers that determines rather you're good or bad.

Seekers powers are strongest during the day when the sun is out, but if the sun is blocked out in anyway it makes them weaker. Keepers are strongest at night when the moon is out and become stronger depending on what phase the moon is in, but if it's blacked out int anyway they become weaker.

Even if the sun is not visible a Seekers powers will always be stronger during the day, but this does not grantee that you will be stronger than Keeper if you fight them during the day it all depends on your powers and skills for the most part. The same goes for Keepers, you're stronger during the night even if the moon isn't out.

Both Keeper and Seekers get weaker during eclipse.

There are 12 classes you can pick from both Keeper and Seeker

all based off of the zodiac.

OK this is a work in progress so I'm not done making it yet, if you've got any suggestions or questions please post them on here. I still have to decide all the Seeker and Keepers powers along with the zodiac powers and stuff like that.

Interesting. Suggestion, just remove the ninjutsu aspect all together. There's not really anything ninja-esque about them.

Coolio. Also, I think each class should be able to have an animal partner according to their class. Ex. Pisces would be able to have a seahorse partner, scorpio would be able to have a scorpion partner etc.

Um guys maybe I need to be bit more clear about this. Those pictures up there are the examples of each classes summon creatures, you creature your own character, they don't actually look like that, well the summon creatures do, but you get it by this point.

So I know that they don't look like ninja, but that's what it's basically about people with skills like ninja only they use magic instead.

I think you should switch the classes around a bit, you know make the Seeker like summoners and the Keepers can like Transform into whatever animal they are so all the pictures with the people riding on animals or with animals that look like they can be ridden should go the the Seekers and the Keepers can get the ones that it looks like no one rides on, like the ones that look like you can transform into. I hope that makes sense. Hold on I'll edit this post in a minute unless someone post before me then I won't have to worry about double posting.

OK I edited it, I hope this makes since um but I think the Seekers should summon and the Keepers should transform. Also to make this more interesting I think we should put some real elements to this like you know love, friendship betrayal and stuff so everyone isn't always fighting all the time. I mean I loved the War Zone, but I think it may have died because it lacked Emotion and all we did on it was just fight.............just saying.

You know that actually could work, I was just putting the darker looking ones as Keepers and the lighter looking ones ans Seekers, I never thought about that, but that could work.


Seekers are summoners and Keepers can transform.

OK and so everyone has more allies than they did in the war zone, let make it Seekers vs Keepers, of course neither of you are really evil and like Dragon said, to make it more interesting I'll be throwing things into the story line. like truly evil people hiding among your factions, traitors and what not, but don't worry I'll create those people. Your people don't have to evil or traitors I'll handle that.

Also to all the guys since i know that some of the Keeper Transformations look like Super girly, just know that this is your character and those pictures are just examples your characters don't actually have to look like that.

OK here's the thing what powers you get with depend on when your character was born so say your character was born march 22 10 P.M. then they'll be an Aries Keeper OK?

Also your birth stones make you stronger.

Now to start, what should the Seeker powers be, you know other than Summoning and light?

Ooh, um give the Seeker Fire, Lava and Earth then give the Keeprs water Ice and Wind.

Oh how about we give Seekers Charm Magic and Keepers Curse Magic.

Charm magic is used to help others by making them stronger, curing poison or whatever while curse magic does the opposite, make people weaker and poisons them and stuff.

Then that makes it useless, doesn't it? What with Seekers and Keepers being the ones fighting each other. Also, I'd stick away from the whole, elements thing. Seeing as like, 5 of the elements Joon posted were basically the same thing, or close enough to the same thing.

OK how about this instead of Lava and fire being two different elements why don't we say that advanced fire users can use Lava and that advanced water users can use ice OK?

So we're back to the drawing board, what kind of powers should Seekers be able to get, because I don't want everyone just getting the same powers.

We won't make elements Seeker and Keeper things as in Seekers can use fire and Keepers can use water. I've decided that maybe the Zodiac powers should be elemental, but they the elements for that sign so say your sign is Sagittarius then you can use fire however you can also specialize in like force magic which is basically control over gravity.

So everyone can get the elements, except for maybe lightning because I don't thing that any sign has lightning as an element.

I'll go check to find out what the rest of the signs elements are.

Oh, I like this.

But why do the Keepers/Seekers have to have specific powers? Shoudn't everyone decide what power(s) they want when they pick a class?

Good point so then do you think that the classes should have specific powers?

The Keepers and the Seekers have different powers but that's only Darkness and light, possibly charms and curses as well, but those would be it. People should be able to pick their powers, it is their character after all.
