Minato vs Kakashi, Guy, Asuma and Kurenai

Look Minato's good, but the fact that this thread was even made is giving minato too much hype. He's really good in a 1 v 1 scenario, because one person being able to keep track of minatos teleportation technique is hard. However, four highly skilled ninja who all have knowledge about his abilities on a team working together would easily overcome that. Gai in full gates would be too fast for Minato to handle up close. Kakashi using kamui would make sure that Minato couldnt stay still for over several seconds. Minato would have to worry about being put into a gengutsu. I just dont even see how Minato could win this.

Can't blitz all of them.

Kakashi uses Hidden Mist. Kurenai preps genjutsu. Asuma uses Searing Ash Cloud. Eventually Minato is getting caught and going down. I pretty much agree with tanduhman's idea though not necessarily his strategy. Either way Minato loses.

i think Minato would win since of his speed. he can also use seals and probably seal them or something and them use rasengan to finish them off.

her genjutsu sucked so hard, and the fact that you have to bite your lip and have like 30 sec to do so, and how will she hit him with it?, the only one who would stand a chance would be kakashi who trained with him and have the sharingan, and his kumui wouldnt work on minato since he was able to jump away from tobi which is way faster

Minato has lots of ablities but to counter all of the other ninjas abilities is very hard, also kakashi has Mangekyou sharingan, Guy has Hirudora, Asuma has his burning ash fire jutsu and also has his big chakra blades. While they try to attack Minato and become a decoy Kurenai will then have prepared a decent enough genjutsu. If that doesn't work then Guy has the 8 gates but still can't match Minatos speed . But Minato is still hugely outnumbered and I think Kakashi Guy Asuma and Kurenai would beat Minato.

^I dont think so. The whole team has full knowledge of minato, gai is extremely fast in gates I dont see minato touching him when he has knowledge. Kurenai may seem vulnerable, and people may say that her gen sucks, but I highly disagree. Gen is what she specializes in. Minato has shown no gengutsu defense. Kurenai had kisame in a gen in an instant. She'll have minato in one too if he doesnt consider her abilities.

While minato one on one is vastly superior to any of these ninjas they as a team pose a threat.

assuming they have base knowledge they know about minatos teleporting (well thats not an assumption everybody and their cousin knows about it). And minato has no kunai laying around somewhere else (which would fall under prep) and has no knowledge of kamui.

Kakashi could simply kamui atleast 10 or more of minatos kunai which would

A: Destoy them then when gai tries to attack with something else then hirudora minato will try to port but then realizes his kunai broke due to kamui and gets nuchucked into oblivion.

B: Sends minatos (first) praised super special kunai to kamuiland and pressures him into teleporting before he can throw another one with one of gais/kakashi/asumas attacks.
Resulting in Minato being stuck in kamuland forever with no way out leaving him to die of old age or strave to death. Or kakashi can just finish him off at any time he wishes by kamui-ing a hirudora towards him. Or some burning ash. The end.

Also in another event hirudoras rnage is way to far to port out of so minatos screwed anyway because gai is protected by 3 characters meaning he has to instablitz 3 other people first before he blitzes gai which is enough time to unleash hirudora.

Minato is obviously a great ninja but all four of these are great ninja one of them was his student and Kakashi is practically at kage level since he was offered the position. Taijutsu, Genjutsu and the Sharingan I don't see how Minato can be expected to win against the four of them working together, especially since we now Kakashi and Gai fight well together

Sole factors are Kakashi and Gai. Both of them have shown good enough speed to fight Minato, that plus Kamui + Hirudora should edge in the team.
