He's tanky enough with his w/hp to survive through your burst.

His e still works when suppressed

Malz's q is a to land on someone with a giant Mspeed boost like garen

Since his shield is flat damage reduction by percentage + it makes his resistances absurdly strong Your W wont be able to drop him too low

The more tanky you build the easier it gets for him to execute you

If you get silenced first then you're dead anyways

Your % based damage won't instantly kill him, his W makes your silence and suppression last shorter then his.

If you built rylais and liandrys, you would have around 2.5k health

garen with an ie would do around 190 damage with AA's with armor pen runes and AD runes balancing out your Armor, since malz has extremely low base armor

His q alone would do 400 without a crit. could near 800 - 900 with a crit, probably more since most garens also have a BC

His e would do 1k alone without any crits in it, His e continues through your suppression even if you hit him with it

His ult 525, but since you have mres it could be around 300, but 40% of the health you lost, you could lose half you health and that coupled with ignite would kill you

His q Will proc on you since it last's 4.5 seconds while your silence Will last 2.5 seconds IF you manage to land it, 1.75 seconds if he hits his 6 second long W in that time frame

your W, E, and R all deal damage over time while only garens e takes time, and three seconds at that, your w is 5 seconds and your 3 is 4 seconds, if he hit his e the second you ulted him, since he had w it would last shorter, and if he didn't his e would deal it's full damage to you at the same time you suppress him

He doesn't need Auto attacks for his e or q to crit

Unless magically you can kill him within two seconds, even though most of your damage is DoTs and he has an amazing shield that outlasts them all

Malzahar is also a short range ap, this is no xerath, Garens whole concept is around assassinating aps, malzahar is even easier because he lacks a good escape mechanic, shield, or speed boost

I was using Twisted Fate (name?) and the first half was meh, I kept getting killed by the girl with the annoying guns...but the second half I just destroyed everyone, pushed up and destroyed 3 turrets, and then jointly finished off the final thingy with my team.
