Omi vs Raimundo

Had to do it. Saw too many fans online. Anyone interested step into the ring.

All feats. BG Standard Rules Apply.

Raimundo has his Blade of the Nebula, and Crest of the Condor

Omi has his Kaijin Charm, and Shimo Staff

The Kajin Charm and Crest of the Condor are supplementary shen gong wu both Omi and Raimundo received late in the series after becoming wudai warriors. They amplify their mastery over their respective elements but don't have any particular abilities. Raimundo's Blade of the Nebula works similar to sword of the storm but instead the blade transforms into a whirlwind that Raimundo can fling around at will, and he isn't given intangibility. Omi's Shimo Staff can transform into any weapon of any size he chooses as long as he can efficiently wield it in combat.

If i remember properly, Raimundo was strong enough to fight wooya? and in the end he was named the golden dragon or something, so i think raimundo takes this, he's the better character anyway :P

Yeah you and the large Raimundo fanbase I saw online saying that he was stronger than Omi.

Naw I'm not really a fan of anyone. I like clay the most cuz he's so chill. I'm just glad rai got it cuz it was unexpected and I think he deserves it

Even though Rai is basically Sasuke w/o as much brooding, Omi takes this.

Why he didn't become the Shoku Warrior is beyond me.

Omi can also fly with his control of water and create tsunamis as well. Late season he was basically turning his staff into a giant spiked bat and swinging it around effortlessly. Not the kind of thing someone can easily avoid.

Rai has to get close if he wants to fight. Omi counters tornadoes with his tsunami strike that's how he did it in the past. They have about the same range, Omi's might be longer if you consider his staff because it essentially works like Goku's Power Pole.

I have always noticed that in certain franchises that the main character's friend or rival sometimes gets to be the "chosen warrior" spot over the main character.

For example in Kingdom Hearts 3d dream distance, Riku gets to be the Keyblade Master not Sora.

For this match, well under these circumstances Omi is more likely to win I think. Then again isn't Omi the better fighter? Correct me if I am wrong.

As far as better fighter goes I guess you can say that's debatable because it includes things like deception and will power, but it's very obvious that Omi is the better martial artist, especially since Chase Young decided to teach him and the only time Omi lost in a straight martial arts battle against someone on his team was Jermaine (who was also trained by Chase). The only one Chase said he was afraid of was Omi, because of Omi's potential.

At the same time though, Raimundo has a lot of knowledge on Omi's fighting style, which is easily defined as "straightforward" by every means of the word.

Raimundo, on the other hand, is a much more flowing style akin to his element, and to that note much more unpredictable as well.

I believe that you should give Omi the Orb of Tornami and Raimundo the Sword of the Strom to make this more interesting.

However at the moment I do not know who will win at this point, I'm leaning more towards Rai than Omi.
