Luffy vs. Gekko Moria

Restrictions: This is Pre Timeskip Luffy. Moria has no zombies and is strictly using pure DF powers.

Do canon fights have different rules? This is canon and Moria has more power in the canon fight, so this should be a total stomp.

By Marineford, Luffy was stronger than he was in Thriller Bark. Even with minimal Conqueror's Haki to add on to what he had already.

No zombies = no shadows to absorb = no Nightmare Moria. Basically, all the power he could absorb isn't around for him to use, so he's just as low as he can get.

Luffy stomps, horrible. He already beat Moria in Thriller Bark. He only got stronger before the end of the Time Skip as well. Moria has absolutely no chance in hell. Having no zombies only makes him even weaker. Destroyed, stomped, roflstomped, pwned, dead.

Actually nightmare luffy beat moria.

What power has luffy gained which prevents him from getting toyed with like in the thriller bark arc. I mean he just sat on his behind and let his shadow bats deal with him.

Brick Bat > GG.

Not to mention moria can just cut luffys shadow while his brick bat is keeping him busy which is an auto k.o.

Actually, BMC, Nightmare Luffy just did a huge chunk of damage to him and made him have to get out of Oz's belly. Luffy actually finished him off combining Gear 2 and 3 and slamming into him a few times with Jet Shell.

Do you think he would have been able to get to that point without his nightmare form. I doubt it.

With what actually happened, probably not. He only needed the shadows to overpower Oars, a zombie. However, in this fight, there are no zombies. It's just Moria and his shadow, which means Nightmare Luffy and Super Moria are non-factors.

The first little mini-fight Luffy and Moria had, Luffy didn't even use his gears. With them added, he's pretty much got it in the bag being faster and stronger. Mid difficulty, probably.

@bmc: Steroid luffy was only necessary because oz acted as a virtual tank for moria. So without it, this fight is just luffy vs base moria. More importantly an injured luffy beat a moria with an entire island of shadows. So how can a fresh luffy lose to a moria without zombies
