Team Guy Vs Itachi

No this is not what you think don't worry. I thought this was interesting and would be enjoyable. I will make another thread for Team Kakashi for Kisame so shout out if that is a bad thread.
However if this is a bad thread please feel free to tell me

Scenario- What if it was Team Guy that found Itachi and Team Kakashi that found Kisame. How would the battle go.

Restrictions- The same abilities shown at the Team Kakashi vs Itachi and Guy vs Kisame fight. So they cannot use any abilities they used in those fights. Example: No amaterasu and sussano.

Location- Same location as Team Kakashi vs Itachi.

Scenario 1- Normal conditions
Scenario 2- Normal conditions without genjutsu

My prediction:

Scenario 1- Itachi wins with difficulty. The rest of Team Guy are fodder and will probally get caught in genjutsu pretty easilly howver we know that Guy can somewhat prevent that happening, I feel that he will eventually fall in the trap, plus we know that Itachi is very fast and dodged some Sage Kabuto attacks. Base Kakashi is faster than gates Guy and at this point you could argue that Itachi is on par with Kakashi so Itachi should be able to keep up with gates Guy.

Scenario 2- Team Guy win with difficulty. I think without the worry of genjutsu the numbers will prove to be too much for Itachi and he will eventually fall to the speed of Guy and Lee, the power of Neji and the something of TenTen (sorry TenTen fans

).

1 Itachi would porbably win just his main problem would be how guy has trained for the sharingan. If they avoided genjutsu (not sure how) they could win. 2 probably team guy thinking on the logic loads of Itachi's attacks are genjutsu and guy and lee have their awesome skills

Genjutsu, won't work on Neji, the Byakugan can see through it.

Itachi loses both sceniro.

Guy knows not to look into the genjuts
Lee and 10-10 get caught but Neji frees them

Guy owns in 5th gate and pressures him close up
Neji keeps distance with air palms
TenTen spams weapons
Lee uses 5th gate as well

Without the use of susaano, or amaterasu I really doubt a 30% itachi could handle a whole team. Especially a team lead by the man that took on kisame by himself. Like you said; neji has air palms, tenten has ranged weopanry, and lee... thats only overkill.

All Itachi can do is lower level genjutsu/fire

It won't work because if you've seen Chapter 100 page 6 or Chapter 193 page 12 Neji cannot see people's eyes when he uses the Byakugan and since he can't see eyes, he can't see Sharingan eyes either. So Itachi won't be able to make eye contact with him for genjutsu.

but he could still get caught in the finger jutsu at least. If Itachi forces eye contact he could still get caugth but Neji would easily break out

It wouldn't matter because the Byakugan cannot be fooled by Genjutsu so even trying to put Neji under a Genjutsu is pointless and a waste of time.
