I Can Tell—It’s a bitter disappointment,
“I Can Tell”
But maybe the other side will turn around.
It could lift away the sound,
And bring back the noise;
Take away the melody, destroy that harmony,
Those harmonic beginnings, the tear-filled endings
—What weight do I have left to me?
You, doll. Your sincerity is disturbing me.
It’s making me shift my feet.
It makes my face stubborn and freeze,
To what epicenes you tear about and yell about.
Your own melody and symphony
And, with your orchestra to play so beautifully.
Then there’s absence—
Here, you’ve caused this.
And, back with my bitter disappointment.
The increasing loneliness.
The bluntness to my breaths that haven’t any effect.
The way of my inclusion,
Your delusion and both of our same settings.
We are heading away,
Your severity, and yours and yours.
The same of which all cut me.
All of one, the hand that stores away my soul.
In what tolerance I have for a still frame.
In my head I can only imagine
And, frame away my cost of being.
Here I am, still seeing
This bitter disappointment
Ahead of my hands.
The many millions of feet and knees that shift,
Before our gap and from the first point of laughter
To where we are now,
The same distance in the same systematic distance,
Which our minds couldn’t progress within the minutes
Of waiting on this.
