Yes but similiarly to being hold by someone and being tied up by ropes (in this case webs and are still able to according to your own will. Shadow possesion does not allow this without the physical stenght needed to combat it which none of the hyuuga have displayed.

Its like comparing a paralyzing genjutsu to being tied up very tight. The former still leaves room for minor movements.(such as bodyblow) the genjutsu does not.

Not sure what you're trying to prove with the paralyzing genjutsu point. When Itachi and Sasuke were caught in Kabuto's paralyzing genjutsu they were still able to move their heads, not like shadow possession works like a paralyzing genjutsu anyway since genjutsu affects the senses. Shadow poss. keeps the user immobilized, but half the time it's been shown the opponent pushes it back or breaks out-including characters not noted for being exceptionally physically strong like Hidan. Even when the opponent cannot force it back or break out completely you can see them resisting it by how their body is shaking. Shadow possession only stops the target from moving (and makes them move like the user) it can't stop a jutsu in which the victim doesn't need to move. Do you think Shadow Possession could stop a jutsu like Tsukuyomi? And again, there are NO movements needed for body blow-Neji emits chakra from all of the opening points on his body, he doesn't need to move to do that.

They can not spam Body Blow. It would take a lot of chakra and only neji was able to do it.

why use shadow possesion when you can pin and restrict them with shadow stichihng

Mind Disturbances effects the nervous system and not the mind itself. Chakra in all around the body even around organs so Body Blow is possible. The Yamanka's would need to stay still to use it and make hand signs. The Hyuuga's are faster so they can use Air Palms before they complete Mind Disturbance
