zabuza. A hero or a Villian

if my memory is correct zabuza launced a coup de atat on the village hidden in the mist, but isnt this under the rules of the last mizukages controling the village, and wouldnt zabuza be a hero who defied him to take controll over the city instead of him?

I guess he would be yeah but then what he did once he was a rogue ninja is pretty obviously villian stuff and he seemed kinda proud of everything he did

Zabuza is like the bad kid in a classic Chirstmas Story.

Boy does bad things . Boy wants presents. Boy does a HUGE good deed to make up for his bad deeds and get presents and realizes what he did was wrong and changes his ways.

Zabuza is 90% Evil n 10% Hero

The village just made him evil

He did not do anything heroic ... IMO

Sure he attacked the grunts but they did not have chakra. Kakashi could have handled them.
Zabuza should haved asked for back-up. Plus the grunts were scared of the villagers which does not help the grunts much.

Zabuza did not make up for the senseless killing he did. Zabuza only "saved" Haku but Oro would have found him eventually.Plus Zabuza did not treat him that well. Haku saved Zabuza more than Zabuza saved him

By Magority I say he is a villian

Zabuza was created as an antagonist to be a villain. He represented every aspect, as he was murderous and relatively uncaring. The only person he seemed to care about in the end was Haku.

Just because he tried to kill the Mizukage before Mei doesn't make him any less of a villain. At the time, the Mist was still a largely murderous village, so he was just doing what he had to do to try and free himself from that sort of torture. At least that's what it seems like, especially since he never tried to go back.

Trying to kill your own kage is still not the best option but that is not the only thing he d0 wrong

He's a hero and he should've never died because he still had to hook up with Anko.

Besides he ended the cycle of death for the hidden mist's village ninja academies graduation exams.

He also tried to save his village as I am sure he knew that the mizukage at the time was being brainwashed like many of the prominent ninja of the mists suspected.

It's okay though because if the Naruto world is a multiverse then there has to be a universe where he already has.

Either way if Kakashi stuck with the D-Rank missions we wouldn't even debate this, he'd already be a hero.

Zabuza lived a villian and died a hero, at least in my mind. He faught for what he belived in at the end and that's why I respect him

Ever hear of the story of Haku and Zabuza? You know, where naruto reminded Zabuza that Haku practially worshipped him? He started to cry. In like episodes 260-270 of shippuden, Kabuto uses the reanimation jutsu on them and you get reminded of what happened. Nice couple episodes.

Zabuzua did not end the killing of the academy exams on purpose. In fact Zabuza loved to kill
