Could it be that the Mist were going to take Rin and use her for the Biju? So Kakashi's choice was; allow her to go and become the 6-tails host or kill her and not allow the mist to obtain the 6-tails.

Rank is something to consider. Plus Kakashi was a nube Jonin. Anyway Kakashi was on par wit CS1 Saskue..... What jonin/Anbu ninja would lose to CS1 Saskue... Hardly any. Obviously you don;t understand that medical ninja are the keey to winning wars, the people who can heal their solders faster and get them back out to fight is more likely to win, so saying she is just a medic really isn't making much of a point. Armies would take medical ninja and keep them alive so long as they healed their solders, but if they could lessen the number of medic the other armies had then they'd get the advantage

But I can prove that Young Kakashi's sensing and tracking skills are not on par with what he has today. His sensing ablities will not help him fight in the mist.

What good is leaving Rin behind to hide?? Rin is doing what Obito hates!! Leaving her comrades behind!! It is not right for kakashi to do all the work. One sharigan is more than enough. Ao has one byukugan and he changed the outcome of the war with it. Look at Kakashi he has one sharigan and he is a beast. So you are risking your villages secrets. In a way by going to save your comrades your betraying your village

He obviously didn't since the leaf won the war. The Uchiha clan was also still alive so the leaf had more than on sharingan to work with. If I should be considered a traitor for saving my friends then so be it, but I will destroy the sharingan I have to, to keep it from happening

The situation that we are talking about now in case you forgot is if you were on a mission in a five man squad with 4 very close friends that you cared very deeply about and the mist ninja told you that if you killed Rin that they would let the other three go, but you had three options to A: Kill Rin and save the other three B: Save Rin and let the other three die or C: just ignore the mist ninja altogether and try to save your friend and keep Rin alive

Yes Obito would have come back for Kakashi, he even said that if it were Kakashi that Rin would come back for her, Obito was under the impression since they were a team that if any of them were in trouble that the others would come back for them. I mean look what Obito just did when he hear Rin AND Kakashi were in trouble, despite his condition he rushed out to go help him, so how can you even doubt that Obito would come back for him?

So Rin is going to "go save the comrades" while she hides and Kakashi does the saving? She is practically volunttering Kakashi to go on a suicide mission. You make it sound so easy their is no way you can make sure that Rin would get away safely

Obviously you do not know that the Jonin or ANBU ninja may have or be medical ninja as well. Plus Rin is not the best Medi ninja. She can not heal and move at the same time. Rin is a rookie. It was stated that leaf won the war and drew up the treaty of alliance to prevent any future hostility, so once again it obviously didn't matter that he got the byakugan since the leaf won the war. I am saying that is VERY unlikey that the Mist will fail to take out the sharigan once they have killed Kakshi. RIn took out the sharigan and she is a rookie. The mist took out the byukugan and put it in AO's eye so how is this different?

How do I know Kakashi would have the other peoples sent? Two very simple and common knowledge reason that common sense could tell you. A: they are 3 very close friends of his so he would know their sent by now and two whenever someone with a good sense of smell is put on a team with anyone they are required to memorize their sent, notice how Kiba had to memorize everyone's sent in his division.

If the mist ninja have set traps then Rin will spot them for me if my sharingan can't which I doubt because the hidden mist jutsu can only be used within so far if the ninja's using it which in that case my sense of smell would be able to pick up the foreign human sent and I could take them out.

I like this thread. Well I tend not to be too idealistic so chances are I'd kill Rin for the sake of others, the only problem is I'd have to get a guarantee that once I kill Rin the others will go free. So I'd ask for two people as a sign of good faith.

The only thing is, this is where it gets tricky. My premise behind killing Rin is that 3 lives are worth more than 1; however, if I kill Rin after getting the two hostages and they decided to kill the last one that means I traded 2 lives for 2 deaths, which is pointless but what would be even worse is that I basically ruined my own life by killing the girl I loved so in reality I lost more than I saved.

If I could have some sort of guarantee that killing Rin would save all three then I would probably go through with it. Or perhaps I would offer a compromise where I sacrifice my own life in exchange for all 4 of them, if they allowed that trade this would be the best case scenario.

Maybe they do not want to kill you because they want your sharigan! Maybe they want you alive! Maybe they are lazy are tired and resting to gain stretnght! Do you honselty belive that A large group of ANBU/Jonin ninja can not take you out?

Kiba and Kakashi are very different. Kakashi is not as good as sening Kiba when Kakashi was a kid. We do not know who the captured comrade is so we do not know if kakashi would have his scent. You assume he does which is unlikely. Prove Kakashi can find ppl by scent! Especially in a large distance

It would still be your fault because you did not get there in time to save them. You stil failed your mission. You tried to follow Obito's ways but you could not save him just like kakashi could not save Obito. By the time you realized they are dead you would be too close to the enemies territory and you would engaged the enemy

You are FAR PAST SCRATCH!! It is highly possible (almost definete) that you will DIE or at least another one of your members! Let's look at your disadvantages again

-Rin is not that strong (so you would have to look out for her)

-No knowledge on your foe
-Your Tired
-No prep
