Interesting thread. I always assumed he was an uchiha, but since kakashi and danzo have(had) implanted sharigans why not someone else.

I think that he is in the Uchiha, I believe him to be the original decedent of the sage of 6th paths, him being the older, bigger brother given the sharingon.

If you look at panels depicting the two brothers the older one doesn't have a sharingan or any other recognized dojutsu but he does have something I geuss it was a proto sharingan or something but I highly doubt tobi is the elder brother
As for tobi being sasuke from the future.........that's just asinine If tobi was a future version. Who could time travel like that then why not go back and kill every threat to him when they we're infants |
