If it's revealed that Tobito was brainwashed the whole time and not Obito's own will, would it be better instead of him becoming bad by his own will? Which would be overall better?

I think it would be kinda cliche and predictable. =/ I wouldn't like it, but I won't complain if that's the case.

Also, judging from the flashbacks, he has clear memories. I can't really see him doing anything he doesn't want.

By Madara?

This is like a mirror image of Haku and Zabuza. Both Haku and Obito were young kids when they were approached and "saved" by older ninja. Now we know that Zabuza used Haku as a mere tool. Why couldn't Madara do the same with Obito?

In the Kakashi Chronicles we see that Obito's character resembles that of Naruto. There must be something else that led him to side with Madara and make such a drastic change on his personality and "worldview".

Personally, I think he was brainwashed much like how He brainwashed Sasuke. And knowing about Rin's death further led him down that dark path Madara is in.

I think it'd be better if he became evil of his own accord... I mean, he's the master of brainwashing so if he himself is brainwashed, that'd be a let down for me...an excuse, and cop-out from kishi... and finally would mean KISHI's WIFE wrote that Part.

No...that's more of TnJ Msdara style. If Obito finally sees the world in Madara's perspective will the real brainwashing (if any) actually starts

If this how Kakashi dies, then i may or not approve depending on the fight. Kakashi will die a MAN!

And to this whole brainwashing concept; it's highly plausible but at the same time an extremely predictable event. There has to be more than just brainwashing. If not, then Kishi is slacking or, like kalmeast said, his wife is writing it. I'm expecting more of a twist just like the reason for Uchiha Massacre.

I think he didnt accept Madara's philosophy but when he realised what happened to Rin (whatever happened) he got angry and turned into Madara imposter.

Why do you keep going on about Kishi's wife? He consulted her about one volume: Volume 53-the one with Naruto's mom. His wife obviously knows a lot more about being a mom than he does, so he consulted her. There is no evidence that she has been "meddling with his work" or whatever outside of Volume 53, which IMO was one of the best volumes of the entire series.

On Topic: I don't know if I would like it better if he was brainwashed or not-depends on how Kishi plays it out.

It is brainwashing. He are forcing your opinion on someone else. Obito's a kid, and Madara is an old dog, he can manipulate him easily.
