A few interesting observations
First of all, I find it interesting that looking at the panel with the "Hashirama bodies" that the masks of Tobi were sort of attached to the bodies (early masks) which makes me wonder whether or not Madara was actually behind a good bit of what Tobi was doing..If you think about it, that clone could easily have fought against Minato, and even against Kakashi early on.
This is where the "masks of Tobi" sort of come in to question, and whether Obito took on the role of Tobi until later in the series, meaning he wasn't actually Tobi through the entire thing.
The statement that Madara entusted his eyes to someone, I think we can safely assume that Kishi wants us to believe its Nagato (which I doubt), but I believe the one he entrusted his eyes to will be made clear when we see where Sasuke is going.
Another thought would be that Madara spoke about finding peace..I find that interesting because of what we know about Madara! Madara reveled in battle and in war, so to suddenly seek peace seams odd (he would be the one that would want to perish in a fight). Also we see that he is merciful when dealing with Onoki early on, which leads me to believe that there is more to Madara than we understand or are told.
Finally, it would make sense that Madara was actually the one meeting with Sasuke originally. When you look at him, and he tells Sasuke that he "is a shell of his former self" and you look at Ch. 601 at the body sort of hanging there on the page where you find out Obito has a rebuilt half to him, it kind of makes sense (also how he would survive an amaterasu from Sasuke, simply by disposing of one clone and coming in as another).
