Mainly about the avatar state was the big issue another member BMCsomeoddnumber also had a similar problem except he didn't whine about it as much and become such a pain as bradley did

My main problem was that i dont think a mechanic described in the series and its feats should be overruled by the debating rules here but the bgs fall under this forums rules so there is not much to complain there.

Oh and by the way. You said you don't get the difference between control and mastery.

Well let's take driving for example

Say you have the ability to drive and how to use all the pedals and techniques down pat. Does having all the knowledge and access to and mentally knowing how to use those skills auto automatically make you the worlds best racer and stunt driver?

No it does not. why? Because while you know how to perform all the actions you don't have the physical skill to perform them

The same is true of the avatar state. Korra can have the knowledge of how to move islands but until she posseses the physical skill to do so she won't be able to do it properly

Now do you understand?

I already did understand that difference but the avatar state is just a little bit different in the sense it grants you skills even without having had the physical training/knowledge required for it. (I think in the roy thread i mentioned aang prematurely earth bending as a example).

In the drivers example even if one would not possess any knowledge on driving when one would enter the state you would temporarely gain that ability. And would even perform better then a more experienced above avarage driver.

That is why the difference between controlling/mastering the state shouldnt really be that large because it already grants feats way beyond the current users knowledge or skill.

Which was why i didnt really get the big difference between the two in this case.
