I don't think I need to really explain why you have neg rep, but it is because you just spammed the forums with useless posts. Also, it's against the rules to complain about any neg reps you have received.

You don't really have to write essays about the topic went you go into a thread. Make sure you put a tiny bit of thought into your response and stay on topic though.
Also, he's still new, lay off him a bit.  Hell, I didn't read the rules when I joined, and I didn't read them for months.
