Question about repping people

I am confused here, I understand you can't just sit there and rep people continuously, but how many people do I have to give rep to in order to rep that person again for something new? Now a days I rarely venture out of the Town Bookstore and really there are a selective group that stay there and constantly contribute well to the discussions and what not...I am just not able to rep them because I haven't "spread it around enough" but that said, it says that about most of the people i've repped now (meaning I can't rep them for good discussion/theory points)...Just wondering if that could be changed, or a better explanation could come out.

I know it use to be that, you have to rep at least 20 people before being able to rep the same person again.

The point about it being changed has been brought up in some past discussions, on the fact waiting a certain number of days before being able to with the same person again, I am not sure though if anything has been changed to do with that though, to that affect.

I see...so I pretty much have to find a way to give it away to pretty much anyone so I can rep the people that contribute actively to the area of the forum I am most active in? *sigh* thats a lot of people to rep around, and mostly the same people contribute to the TB.

Yes. You can subscribe to a thread so it shows up when people post in your User CP maybe to remind you once you can rep someone. ^_^

not sure if this is the right place ask but whats the point in rep, i know it shows that people like something you'v posted or like you, but is that all?

Just show your positive all the time. Shows you made some kind of contribution in the site.
