Darui vs KakUzu

Since I consider Kakashi to be better than Darui I will give Kakuza the win. Kakashi was ready and still almost died with a whole team backing him.

Could Darui absorb water style like Kakashi absorbed lighting style????

Storm is Lightning and water. So Darui has both.


Kakuzu is my favorate Akatsuki member. There aren't many in naruto who could beat him. He's probably 5th in Akatsuki in power.

But Naruto is about match-ups and this is a bad one for Kakuzu.

As for speed...if the anime is anywhere close, then Kakuzu is extremely fast for blitzing. I'd put him after A, Naruto, Minato. Asuma never saw the attack from the side, and got beat down with a suitcase.

kakuzu was on the ground from a stab in the heart. kakashi runs toward Hidan, and Kakuzu is suddenly in front of kakashi and back kicks him into a tree that knocks other trees over. So much for the sharingan eyesight. He punches choji across the field. Choji stops and kakuzu is suddenly standing in from of him.

I don't mind giving this to durui based on feats when I know that truthfully, durui probably has no shot. Kakuzu is a 90 year old bounty hunter who fought hashirama before he escaping with the secrets of his village (including earth grudge fear). And he's killed other akatsuki members. And alliance sealed many top ninjas. But not kakuzu. That itself is rep.

And Durui doesn't have kakuzu's intelligence. That's just as big a factor. Feat? how about negative feat. "sorry boss." i don't see kakuzu messing things up enough to need that phrase.

But we agree that if Kakuzu closes the distance, darui is screwed. Kakuzu, despite the databook, is probably stronger than guy and Kisami. Catching chojis fist when he's blitzing, and the arm is at increased size..and not bending your arm is boss. He punching down the steel doors to the monk temple. They were like forty feet high and a foot thick.

They decreased his strength to trade blows with kakashi.

The only weakness kakuzu really has to worry about is that his signs don't seem to be that fast.

I think kakuzu would only use the masks on his shoulders, if any.

I'll be nice and give Durui the win for his storm release.

Dauri has great control of his storm release and they back a powerful punch that can take out 3 hearts at least
