I think you can expand this about politics in general. im sure when the dems go up, theyll have their share of lies.

Yeah the Dems have their share of untruthfulness, but the sheer amount of falsification of facts by the Republicans this year is disturbing.

It's not always blatant lies. In fact it's idealistic garbage if you want to boil it down to it's bare bones,but that's part of the process. You have to win before you can be ethical. Afterall, only the winners get to shape the country.

Romney's campaign already gave up the truth battle months ago. Their campaign manager called the switch over from the Republican primaries to the general campaign, "almost like an Etch-A-Sketch," and they recently said, "We're not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers."

When a campaign decides it doesn't want to even retain a patina of truth, then there's no reason to believe anything they say. They are telling you they are lying to you. Literally telling you. Voting for them is allowing them to insult your intelligence, which probably means you weren't paying attention or you just hate the current administration so much that you don't care if the next one is worse.

Two lemonade stands are right beside each other, competing for business.
You've had the lemonade from the little girl on the left. It wasn't great, but it was cool and refreshing. You suspect she didn't bother adding much sugar, just squeezed some lemons into ice water, but hey, you ain't so thirsty anymore, and earlier you thought your mouth had sand in it.

The lemonade stand on the right has a kid who smiles all the time and tells you his lemonade is sweeter. You look at his pitcher. It contains some kind of steaming black liquid.
"Isn't that black coffee?" you ask.

"Heck no, Mister!" he says. "This is the finest lemonade in the county. The sun turns the sugar brown. Everybody knows that. Now, her lemonade," he says, pointing at his competition, "that don't even have water in it! If you drink mine, you won't be thirsty no more. I promise."

"Aren't you totally lying to me right now?" you say.

"Of course, you idiot!" he says, "but since you're an idiot, I don't have to worry about that, do I? Now buy a cup quick. You're holding up all these other idiots behind you."

You turn around and there's a small mob of smiling people right behind you, and you begin to wonder if they're all on drugs. Some of them, the older ones, are sticking their tongue out at the little girl. One of them says, "Boy, it's hot as hell out here, isn't it?! What you need is one of those tasty dark lemonades!"
You recognize him. It's Bob. You've seen Bob shouting at the dark lemonade kid to get off his lawn. He works for Folgers. You finally wonder if you are the one on drugs.

And that's how they plan to win...

Unlike the dems the reps just throw a dirt campain at least the dems give romney a lil credit so it is not all hurtful
