PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST ANY AVATARS FOR ANIME OR MANGA SERIES THAT ARE OWNED BY VIZ. THEY WILL NOT BE APPROVED SO DON'T ASK!

Hey guys,

since its taking a while for us to have Official Naruto customs avatars, we thought it would be best to have avatars that are not viz related.

Miscellaneous Avatars can be from any:

-Games
-TV Shows
-Movies
-Comics
-Books
-Music

We want to know what you think and what suggestions you guys can come up with to provide Miscellaneous Avatars for the community.

Rules for the Miscellaneous Avatars are still applied. Make sure that the suggestions you guys come up with are not Anime and Manga Viz Related.

Only suggestions can be posted here. Please DO NOT spam in this thread to raise your post count. Fail to comply, a warning may be issued.

I'm confused.

Do you mean miscellaneous avatars that will be available in the avatar selection?

Or do you mean custom avatars? Because you can't have custom avatars unless you're in the WS or MotM winner. And if you're in the WS, you can only have it of your character.

Basically, you can't use any Viz related ones, and you can't make it anything but your WS character if that's why you have one.

He means miscellaneous avatars that aren't viz owned stuff (eg Skyrim and all that)

Yes. Basically, this is for people to request default avatars so we have more to choose from (since Viz owned avatars are pretty much not a priority due to the time it takes to have them approved). For example, we could have more avatars from games like CoD, Skyrim and all that, because none of those are Viz owned and are more likely to get added to the system.

It's going to be hard to keep track of all the requests. Are we taking the most popular recommendations and then having GFX artists make avatars? We should also request renders and have a quota if that's the case. Especially because we want HQ avatars and stock isn't always good.

Well, this is really just to put out suggestions for what people want. We'll poll the top 10 and avatars would be made of the top 5 most requested. But yeah, it's pretty much what you said.

Okay, well I have a feeling this thread will be spammed so maybe the OP should have a rule that you have to have a master list in your recommendation post, because people can just keep coming up with random crap to boost their post counts.

Like, when the avatars will get added ? We don't know, but we thought it would be a good idea to get everyone's suggestions on what alternate, non-viz owned series we could add as avatars to the forums.

Some things probably need to be discussed on an admin level before this idea becomes "official". But do feel free to suggest things in the meantime.
