For being the only expressed words in the whole chapter, I don't think there could have been worse ones.
The phrase "You are Obito?" could be interpreted in a couple different ways, for example: you are... OBITO?! - shock that it is actually Obito and not someone else YOU are Obito? - that makes it sound like Kakashi doesn't recognize him Kakashi was starting to believe it was Obito, so I think he doesn't believe that's what Obito would look like after so many years. If Kakashi starts to think somethin's up, then the story will take its course to accommodate for that. For example: Kakashi remembers something about Zetsu and suspects he has something to with a possibly "genetically altered" Obito. If he thinks this, then it will probably happen. That's just the way it's gonna work. Oh, and what do you guys think Sasuke will do once he finds out he was taking orders from a backwash Uchiha? lol |

Remember that the original is japanese and could be a lot slicker.
I remember Casshern sins, whee he is about to kill a girl, and her death would plunge the world into destruction. She asks him if he feels any guilt or has any remorse of what he is about to do. He answers: "Nai" So incredible cool, but english doesn't has a good word for it, so they have to say "I dont have" Incredible lame english version. But again, i agree, the "you are" part sounded bad. Just "...obito?" would have been better. |

It's quite a direct translation. The Japanese version says:
お前は・・・ (omae wa...) オビト・・・？(obito...?) "You are... Obito...?"
