Default Ultimate Ninja Impact vs. Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 *Possible game spoliers*

Having played both, I've assembled certain Pros and Cons for both games. Before I do, these are truly my 2 favorite Naruto games, no doubt! I'd love to see everyone's thoughts on which is better, and if you have additional Pros/Cons.

*WARNING* If you have not played these games, some of the games features and parts are mentioned in this post and may be mentioned in the posts of others.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Impact

Pros:
-Does a great job of incorporating the anime into action-packed missions
-Characters have a good range of jutsus and attacks
-Ability to charge strong jutsus, charged ninja dashes, and even chakra infused weapons
-"RUSH" battle system with (of course) Ninja Impact
-Total immersion in the Naruto world through voice acting and true-to-the-anime environments
-Addictive card system
-Multiplayer co-op and battle
-TONS of extra missions, content, and unlockables after the main story, plus additional difficulties to add a ridiculous amount of replay value and post-game goodies

Cons:
-Only 26 characters. Characters like Sasuke's alt outfits take up an entire space as well. For example, instead of Sasuke being one character with 3 outfits, he's 3 separate characters, taking up 3 of the 26 spaces... yeah...The game also does a wonderful job of taunting you with NPCs like Suigetsu and Iruka that have enough moves to be playable. Arguably the biggest problem of the game.
-Some "Army" enemies have NO AI whatsoever. They simply stand there waiting to be destroyed.
-Battle modes only available for multi-player (no player vs cpu availabe)
-Some boss battles are nowhere as difficult as they should be. (struggled doing Naruto vs Pain, but had no trouble fighting the gigantic 8 tails)
-Some in-battle dialogue pauses the action, which can be aggravating in the midst of a difficult battle

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3

Pros:
-A huge cast of 48 characters! Characters with different forms or outfits are under that original character, and do not take up their own character slot.
-Long ninja road with tons of collectible goodies, increasing difficulty, and rewarding gameplay.
-Tree of Mettle system that rewards you for your progress in Ninja Road with figures and downloadable wallpapers
-Team battles, several character combos for each character, selectable jutsus, handicaps, etc! Fully customizational battles.
-Multiplayer co-op for missions and head to head battle
-Collectible pictures, jutsu videos, and music

Cons:
-Some Ninja Road levels are far too easy. The side-scrolling levels seem too bare bones and easy to complete.
-Later missions can become ridiculously difficult regardless of your skill level.
-Although many characters are included, some are used as NPCs that you can only fight against.
-Many collectibles are expensive, requiring you to go back and complete missions multiple times just to have enough NP to purchase one small collectible.

Personally, I like Impact better. It's got more to do after the main story, and even though there are far less characters, the characters it does have are moulded perfectly and play just like you'd expect. And now that you can find them new for only $10 at stores like BestBuy, its well worth it. I'd pay MORE than the average PSP game for this amazing experience.

So now, I'd love to hear some of you pros, cons, and your verdict as well!

I've got Akatsuki Rising and Impact.

Akatsuki rising has enough game modes to be busy but it just totally sucks gameplay wise.

Impact is a little better but still not really a game I would play it Naruto wouldn't appeal me. It covers a lot of the Shippuuden storyline which is fun enough to play through even though I've seen the anime and read the manga. But I was still hoping for better gameplay. I could pretty much beat the game on hard easily with tactics that felt really dumb (all about timing ultimate jutsu). The card equip system is not as good as the item system in Akatsuki Rising, I didn't even bother to use it until I had finished the game to explore the other options.

Is Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 really a game you keep on playing because it's fun to "master" like Tekken or Final Fantasy Dissidia? Or do you just play the storyline once, do a couple of modes that seem fun and then go to the next game?

I don't necessarily want to play more Naruto games for the story, but a game in the Naruto style with great gameplay that is hard to master (with good online play) would be epic. If the PS4 comes out I might pick up a PS3 and buy the Naruto ultimate ninja storm generations game because that one seems to play waaaay better, even though the ultimate jutsu and tag team attacks are a bit annoying.

I liked Akatsuki Rising, despite the poor reviews! It was great, especially customizing and fusing jutsu to make newer, stronger moves! Really cool stuff. But to me, I loved Impact the best.

Daaang... is Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 like Tekken in terms or mastering? Nah. It plays more or less like UNH 1 and 2, but to me, the battle system has been slightly watered down in comparison to the previous 2 of the series. Why do I like it so much? 4 ninja battles and a huge cast of characters! I jump between UNH2 and 3 because 2 has a better battle system, yet 3 has a great story, lots of content, tons of characters, and just an entire slew of epicness! If you dont have it, get it. I definitely spent a lot of time on it, and it only takes a fight or 2 to get used to each ninja, unlike Tekken or Dissidia!

Don't get Akatsuki Rising, the only thing it's good at is the item system.

Decide if you want a 2D fighting game (heroes 3) or a 3D hack and slash game (impact) that plays a bit like dynasty warriors.

Well a Naruto game with a difficulty like Tekken or Dissidia would be awesome. But most important is that the game plays smooth, impact and akatsuki rising didn't. I'm hoping for such a game to appear for the PS Vita.
