I agree Onoki is the best overall kage, but you're high out your mind if you have A below Tsunade. If A is serious he speedblitzes and cuts her head off with a Lariat. Mei suffers a similar fate once he goes full power. Onoki and Gaara are the only people who stand a chance. I'm not sure how much chakra they would have to waste putting down A though. The battle royale between those three is a gamble for the order in which they finish.

If Onoki realizes that fighting Gaara might result in his loss because of his lack of stamina and Gaara's defensive capabilities he can just decide to make Gaara's sand extremely heavy and then A would be able to blitz. That would be an amazing strategy and I think Onoki with his decades of battle experience would be able to come up with it. But then he'd have to find a way to defeat A which might turn on him because he can't catch A with Dust Release and that's the only way to get through that armor (he might be able to kill A with that cylindrical dust release he spins around which has an enormous AoE but if A does that thing he did to Juugo where he flashes away the second before an attack strikes he might end up right on top of Onoki cracking his skull open with a Guillotine Drop.

Onoki stomps by flying and using a Jinton: Genkai Hakuri on all of them. Its too big for them to dodge and no one can heal from it.

Onoki's flight is pretty fast seeing as he kept up with Deidara who was dodging gaara sand, and he can touch the sand to make it lighter or simply obliterate it using dust release. There is no way A blitzes every kage, let alone one, unless he's in super close range, and by the time he does so everyone would have already made a move. A's speed is overrated.

Meh I agree with you that A's speed can be underrated. I especially see the double standard where people have let Minato speedblitz but not A when the difference in their speed is virtually nonexistent to anyone that isn't close to their level of movement...which is basically the entire Narutoverse except Gai, Naruto, Minato, Bee, Tobi and Kabuto.

But I don't see it being at the point where he can blitz four opponent's like that. By the time he's killed one or two the rest will be on their guard and most likely counterattacking.

I see Gaara vs. A as similar to Gaara vs. Kimimaro in part 1 except instead of fighting at the level of skilled jonin they're fighting at the level of skilled kage. I don't see Gaara being able to crush A in raiton armor and after seeing Gaara miss blocking Jouki Boy's attack I'm not convinced that his guard is fast enough to stop A from getting through (but his new defense is definitely strong enough to tank the hits themselves). And Gaara has displayed some very impressive stamina this war but you're right he can't outlast A. However, that doesn't mean that he can't capture A. I don't see how A would be able to escape that Imperial Desert Sand Funeral or getting wrapped in a giant mound of gold, chakra infused dust.

And for the whole Deidara thing, Onoki still flew just as fast as Deidara did and iirc Onoki was actually gaining on Deidara. When he fought Gaara, Deidara didn't really use his bombs to evade the sand he was doing a pretty good job of that on his own although you are right over time Gaara would be able to catch him but I don't see what's stopping Onoki from summoning a rock golem in mid air or turning Gaara's so heavy it crumbles like stone which is what he did to Zetsu.

I mentioned this before but Onoki is the perfect counter to Gaara, all he has to do is touch the sand and Gaara just becomes open to speedblitz from A when his guard slows down. The only problem from that would be whether or not Onoki can defeat A one on one, which I doubt because A is so ridiculously fast and has waaaaaaaaay more stamina.

That's a good point. But he does have certain fail safes similar to Sasuke, like using sand clones if he knows he is going to get blitzed.

Summoning a rock golem means it drops in mid air. On top of that, he has to be able to predict where the sand will come, which is hardly possible when it can come from any angle. He's not A, he can't outrun Gaara's perception. Onoki has no defense against pursuing sand.

Well the rock golem floats so that's not a real problem (we saw Akatsuchi leave it in the air to block Deidara's explosives). And the Rock Golem can cover him completely.

Sand is together but separate. Touching one gathering of sand does nothing for the rest of the sand. I find it hard to believe Onoki simply touches the tip of blitzing sand and the rest drops. Moreover, the sand will likely grab his leg and break it almost immediately without time to increase the weight

Well you'll have to take that logic up with Kishi because that's exactly what Onoki did in the Madara fight. He touched the ground and said "I made all the sand in the area lighter." It only makes sense that he can make it heavier as well.

Well Gaara can fly as well possibly faster than Onoki which was hinted at during one of the Kages prewar meetings and his sand attacks are omnidirectional of course Onoki could just clear it with his giant Dust Release cylinder but as long as his has his gourd sand Gaara can produce more and he has more stamina than Onoki. I believe Onoki wins but only because of his weight changing techniques not by Dust Release. It's not fast enough to hit A by the way.
