How to not show BB code?

When I'm at home on my Macbook Pro OSX Lion, I realize that when click the picture button, the picture itself shows up instead of the link with the [IMG] around it. Anyways, when I'm on other computers, it doesn't normally do that.

Is there anything I can download or fix on a computer (Windows) so it will show the picture instead of the BB code?

Some browser and/or devices do not have the ability to use WYSIWYG. On a browser that does support this, the BBCode is changed to actually showing you what you do. This setting can be changed in UserCP -> Edit Options -> Message Editor Interface

If that is set to Enhanced Interface and you only get the BBCode appearing, then your browser is just not capable of using WYSIWYG.

Oh, actually, what I meant is:

I see the BB code when typing the message on windows.

When you're writing a reply to a message, there should be a small little box at the top right corner. When you click that, the area where you're typing can switch between a white background and a grayish color. With the white background, you can see all the code and stuff for images and color and size, with the grayish background you can't.

Not sure if this helps, but hopefully it does.

Chrome doesn't allow you to have a grey background and not see BB code.

It used to.

That's odd.

Anyway, if you download IE (Even though it sucks) then it should work. Unless IE changed. I haven't used it for a while.

Chrome won't allow the default editor mode, it only has the white one which shows BB code. It's one of the main reasons I use Firefox because the other editor mode annoys me.
